The altercation at the party was the hottest news at school Monday.

It was mostly warped into how hot and brave Park Jimin was, taking down one of our schools most infamous bad boys of the past and looking so damn sexy doing it but nobody really cared about why they were fighting— it was a fight after all... they were really curious on why I was there, next to Park, and what that meant for his girl, Bae.

Bae was off her rockers when saw the video of Jimin and I talking, well, mostly me trying to calm him down before he did something even stupider than knocking Hye unconscious. She was scheming and deceiving everyone, making sure everybody around school understood that she was still the top girl, Jimin's star pupil, and I was just trying to chaos between them. Being a slut for attention as she called it— the reason why I ran to help Jimin apparently and of course, one person bought into that claim making everyone believe it.

Jimin and I avoided each other like the bubonic plague.

It was easier catching each other's eyes briefly than saying the words we wanted to say to one another or how we felt about what happened at the party and our situation entirely. He didn't want to draw more attention to him (even though he was a literal spotlight any day of the week) or me which I actually for once agreed with him about and god knows his girlfriend would have probably put a knife in my back if she caught us brushing shoulders in the hallway.

The only place we were really safe was in the auditorium.

Away from prying eyes and stuck with nerdy teens who could really care less about high school drama. It was too degrassi like for them which I also understood. Everything was insane again but at least there, here, we could interact even if it wasn't necessarily socially.

Educational purposes still required words and as the days passed, I realized we were terrible with them.

I tried to have faith in Namjoon but his efforts were continuously thwarted by his friends especially that conniving cunt Jungkook who just couldn't keep his nose out of people's business. It's like no matter what, Jimin and I would always end up back to square one.

"No! No! No!"

Mr. Chung sounded from the director's seat, his notepad skidding across the table as he pushed it out of his hands and leaned back further into the reclining chair, hand over his eyes in clear frustration.

"What are we playing? Zoo animals?!" He shouted at all of us on the stage, most of us looking absolutely frightened while some stage crew shook behind the curtains.
