"You bring me all the way out to Calabasas?" Lori said with a smirk while approaching Aubrey the large steel gate clanged as it manually locked behind her. Aubrey placed his hands to either side of Lori's face and pressed his lips to her forehead, then pressed his lips to hers. "So a resort not a home?" She teased him before kissing him back.

"It counts as both. You won't ever catch me willingly living in LA." He said arching his right eyebrow.

"It's not... that bad." She scrunched her face.

"Yeah, ok." He sarcastically replied, his dry humor once again left her confused on if he was serious or joking. "I'll show you around and you can tell me how lowkey this isn't making me look." Lori rolled her eyes while he reached and grabbed ahold of her hand and pulled her through twelve thousand plus square feet of land that didn't spare any expenses. A waterfall cascaded into a pool, LED lights under the water slowly faded into different colors every few seconds, a grotto tucked in the far right corner, she shook her head at the statues of women that stood in the rippling water, it was too fitting for a man like Aubrey, why would he not have statues of women, sports courts of your picking, wine cellars, indoor bars, outdoor bars, several separate living quarters for however many guests he felt the need to have at any given moment.

"You have horses?" Lori asked casually doing her best to hide the excitement she had as she waited for his reply. She looked out across the large five-stall stable and riding field.

"No, I have no reason to be on a horse unless it has doors and seatbelts." He said with a straight face while looking down at her.

Lori stared at him with a playful frown. "They're not that bad, you just have to gain their trust." She shrugged.

"Yeah, no." He simply said as he pulled her along the walkway.

"So, I ask again. What do you need with all this space?"

"I've just always wanted this house." He replied.

"That's it? You just wanted? No reason? Just to have it?"

"Yup, it fit the lifestyle I was in when I bought it."

"How long have you had it?"

Aubrey paused and thought to himself. "Bought nine years or so."

"Why not sell it?"

"It still gets used here and there." Aubrey pulled his phone from his pocket, looked at the screen, and frowned annoyingly, he clicked his teeth then placed it back into his pocket Lori eyed his demeanor but remained silent. "I'm too attached to it. I also have business in LA so as long as I'm connected here I'm keeping it."

"Makes sense."

"Come on." He said sliding the glass door open and stepping to the side. The inside was just as expensive as the outside, game rooms, movie theaters, multiple kitchens, a steam room big enough to fit multiple massage tables. "Your mom knew?" He assumed but asked for clarification.

"According to her it was obvious, you look at me like the ala cart table," Lori said eyeing him. Aubrey frowned and squinted his eyes.
