"You miss him, don't you?"
"It's... not that easy."
"Not that easy? It was a question."
"A question that is not that easy to answer."
"Well that gives me my answer."
"Then why ask it!? If you already knew!?" Robyn hissed back abruptly causing an awkward silence between the two of them. "Does it matter!?"
"To who? Because if you're asking? To me, it does!" He spat back.
Robyn stared silently at her husband six years there had been ups and downs in their relationship making it by no means perfect and it would take her being completely intoxicated to admit their faults. She leaned back into the pool water allowing it to carry her weight as she floated away from the edge, the smell of chlorine permeated through the air, one of her husband's shirts still around the upper portion of her body as it too floated through the crystal clear water with her, as dark as it was jet black sunglasses hid her bloodshot eyes, a mixture of crying and being high from three joints, a half-empty glass of rum sat on the edge of the pool for her easy access.
"You always were jealous of him." She said lowly while placing her feet to the bottom and standing up. "I told you what to expect before we even started dating!"
He squinted his eyes at her and smirked doing his best to ignore his bubbling anger from her purposeful insult. "An intoxicate mind speaks a sober heart. Is this you getting it all out? What you really think." He asked leaning back in his poolside chair, his legs spread comfortably as he questioned his wife. Robyn giggled and swam to the pool's edge. "Being jealous is one thing but being concerned if I'm going to find my wife in bed with her ex is another thing."
"Eric, please!" She said rolling her eyes from behind the sunglasses and leaning against the pool's edge she placed her arms on the deck as a small puddle of water pooled around them.
"That new girl he's got..." He mumbled, shook his head, and licked his bottom lip. Robyn frowned and stood up straight, mentally the alcohol told her it was ok for her to miss Aubrey but how dare Eric mention Lori's attraction over hers. Her nostrils flared, she reached for the small glass of rum and chucked it at her husband causing it to hit the cement and shatter into hundreds of tiny thick pieces at his feet, missing him by inches. "Better luck next time." He said unfazed by her drunk and high infused temper tantrum and attempt at physical hurting him. "You can't possibly think he misses you... or is even thinking about you with what he's got now. Babe let's be realistic. I've physically met her, you've physically met her.... even when I was in her presence for those few minutes I wasn't thinking about you. Imagine him being around her all the time... I mean if I was him I sure wouldn't be fucking her one day out of the week. Aubrey's not stupid." Eric continued, instead of physically trying to hurt her he used his words, knowing it would cause Robyn to completely lose whatever tiny composure she had. She pulled the expensive glasses from her face and placed them on the ground finally showing just how red her eyes were, she walked along the side of the pool water trailed behind her causing a rippled effect, she stepped out of the pool slowly and careful to keep her balance, she walked on her white-painted tippy toes leaving short wet footsteps behind her. "Robyn... don't walk... stop your going to step..."
"You're right. I do miss him." She said cutting him off, not caring for the shattered pieces of glass by her feet. She straddled him in the chair, the crotch of his pants immediately wet from her dripping body and swimsuit. "I miss him, the way he touched me, the way he kissed me." She closed her eyes and ran her hands over her body, goosebumps covered her skin as the cool night air of Barbados hit it, Eric could visibly see her nipples getting hard through her bikini top as she reminisced about her sex life with another man. "The way he licked every inch of me, the way he filled every inch of me. That's why I kept going back. It's the sex, I would let him fuck me wherever he wanted to, however, he wanted to, I loved being his toy." Robyn looked Eric in the eyes as she continued. "I MISS being his toy." She finally said.
