My head hung low as I navigated my way back to my room, biting on my quivering lip. I was close to the door, just a few more steps.Without realising, I bumped into a hard chest, making me stumble and apologise until I could sniff out the smell of burnt sugar.
"What if you bumped into a villain you idiot- hey are you crying?" Without saying anything, I ran to my room, sobbing into my pillow.
I left my door open like the idiot I was, noticing a familiar shadow lingering by my door.
"Dumbass." He walked in and closed the door behind him. "What got you crying? Blonde cool aid man scream in your ear again?"
I stopped crying and burst out laughing when I realised who he was describing. "Are you talking about Uncle Hizashi?"
When he saw my tear stained face he stayed still for a long moment before rolling his eyes. "So, what is it?" My bed dipped as he took a seat next to my feet.
I sat up and hugged my knees. "It's just a bunch of dumb rumours." I wiped my cheeks with the sleeves of the stripy shirt I was wearing. "Damn stupid reason to cry." I mumbled to myself.
"Tch." Bakugo scoffed. "You always validate everyone's feelings but your own." He added, making me stop and stare at him in shock.
Was he being sincere?
"Besides, you always say 'as long as I know the truth, no one elses truth matters to me', so why aren't you taking your own advice."
"Bakugo! This is different! Dad could be affected by this! My career could be affected!" I explained, keeping my voice low incase anyone was listening from outside.
He nodded calmly, suggesting another idea. "How about speaking to the toad?"
Shaking my head, I explained that she'd just ignore me. Bakugo agreed with his silence, for some reason avoiding eye contact.
Perhaps he's thinking deeper, more than I am. I laid my head on his shoulders, holding myself together. Unlike his appearance, he was soft to lay on. Yet he never moved a muscle.
"Why are you so tense...?" I asked with my raspy tone. "It's nothing, idiot."
Just as I got up to leave my room, his calloused hand quickly caught hold of my wrist, stopping me dead in my tracks. "Where are you going?" He hesitantly questioned, eyebrows knitted in concern.
It was a breathtaking sight, he had never shown me that side of him. Sometimes he'd lightly hit me when I did something to accidentily hurt myself but this time... he was showing me.
"To go stress-eat... ya wanna join?" I smirked, snatching his other hand and forcing him up. Whenever I cried, my apetite would suddenly grow.
Although people view that as a tomboy thing- it actually isn't.
In fact most girls stuff their face when they're miserable."If it makes you stop with the ugly grinch cry then sure." He tsked, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he walked ahead with me.
I elbowed him lightly in return for that insult. "Why does everyone call it that?!" I whined. He laughed like the idiot he secretly is.

We had both gotten ice cream and sat at the isolated park. Since all they had was a white vanilla, I took my chance and made dirty jokes, laughing at every single one of my own comments. All Bakugo did was glower at me with disgust twisting his face.
"If I straightened your hair, I could make you look like you belong in an anime. Guess which one." I wriggled my eyebrows mischeviously.
(If you don't know it then she's talking about Boku No Pico💕)
