"I tried calling her twenty times, she isn't picking up." Ochaco walked back into the lounge where Bakugo, Midoriya, Iida, Kirishima, Jirou, Denki and Momo were waiting.

None of them teased Bakugo for staying up with them since they knew the two of them were good friends and he was feeling cranky anyway.

"We can't leave when it's so dark outside... can we?" Momo suggested. "I doubt she would be so stupid to be out right now." Kirishima added.

"Don't underestimate her low IQ, if that bitch refuses to say anything to us then what's the chances she's still out?!"

"Bakugo calm down she's probably with Mr Aizawa." Midoriya maturely answered. For once, All Might was off his mind.

"Ow! It stings!" Karasu squeezed the pillow, hugging it for comfort.

"Stop moving!"

"Don't yell at me I know for a fact that you'd be squealing in my place!" She snapped back at the blonde man.

He sighed and rolled his eyes at her, cleaning up the huge bloody scar on her shins. "Did you at least tell your dad that you're here?" Hizashi sat next to her after bandaging it up.

"He'd give me a long boring lecture on why I should be studying instead of fooling around with you." She mumbled angrily.

"Alright but why haven't you told him about this?" He gestured at her bandaged shin. "Accidents happen." The girl fiddled with her shirt. She lied to her uncle about the real reason about how she got the scar.

She said she accidentily scraped herself when practicing a fight method with swords but in reality it was worse than that.

"I have no idea how someone gets such a nasty scar while training." He squinted his eyes at her, putting his long blonde hair in a bun.

"Me either." Karasu smiled unconsciously. Giggling at how long he was staring at her. It scared her how he could keep his eyes open without blinking for such a long time.

"Ha! You smiled! Now tell me the truth!"

"That was the truth!"

"Look, I may look like an idiot but it doesn't mean I am!" He fought back at her, the suspicion growing.

The girl sighed, hugging her knees and turning her head away. "I'll only tell you if you let me braid your hair."

The older man sighed at her and sat himself in front of the yellow sofa, taking out the hairband he just tied and crossing his arms.

"Only if you tell me the truth."

The girl hummed and began brushing through his soft blonde hair, loving the feeling. "Okay well~" She laughed again, nervous to tell him.

She didn't know what the outcome would be. Her cheeks were red and eyes watering. Her uncle knew that meant she was lying. Especially with all the giggling.

"You won't tell anyone right?"

"No..." He said, as if he were unsure.

"School isn't going so well for me." She split his hair into three sections, gently braiding with her soft pale hands.

Hizashi hummed and furrowed his eyebrows in curiosity. "In what way?"

"In the way that I feel-... unsafe at school." She whispered the last part.

"Repeat that." He sternly demanded, scaring his neise. "Come on why do you have to be like that"-

"I'm not joking around with you, kid."

"Fine- Everyone hates me." She stubbornly answered.

Not a second after she finished braiding him, he turned to fully face her, green eyes burning into her soul.

"What happened?"

Karasu sucked in a sharp breath, avoiding eye contact. "EveryonethinksI'mhurtingaclassmatesotheyalltreatmelikeavillain!" Her heart dropped in fear of Hizashi. There were some times were he was more terrifying than her own dad.

He'd stare at you until you spat out whatever you were hiding from him. And when he frowned it would make you piss yourself.

"So that scar isn't from training?"

She relucantly shook her head.

"How long has it been?"

"A... I can't remember... probably a few months." She chuckled sheepishly, not able to contain her laughs. Hizashi already had gotten used to it. When she laughs or giggles it meant she was too embarassed to say the truth or overwhelmed by it.

'In a few seconds she's going to start crying...' he thought, cocking a brow at her.

And he was right, her happy expression twisted into a miserable frown. She lowered her head in shame.

"It's okay..." He sat besides her, hugging her smaller body.

It was obvious that she was trying to suppress it all, little huffs leaving her lips suddenly. "You can cry, y'know?" He jokingly slapped her head, making her softly snicker.

"Please d-don't tell dad." He stroked her hair, reassuring her that he wouldn't.

"I really don't understand it though..." He said, tightening his arms around her. Karasu laid her head on his collerbone, sniffling.

"I could swear UA is a school for heroes."

"I thought the same." She added, her voice croaking and her nose blocked. "Don't worry, I won't let anything else happen to you but you gotta tell me how you got that scar... it's too much for me to just ignore."

Karasu hugged herself, still hiding herself in her uncles embrace. "Afterschool..." She began

It was after she left the park, somehow the guys had found her and circled around her. She wasn't intimidated or scared, just pissed off.

While they all made comments about how pathetic she was, coming to a hero school to bully a girl smaller than I was, one of their hands turned into a knife, catching the girl by surprise.

They lunged at her, making her back away from them. Since his knife was part of his body, Karasu couldn't take it off of him. Instead she turned to run away, only to get dragged back and have her leg cut as a 'punishment'

But they ran away when they realised it wasn't the small scar they intended it to be, instead the flesh was sticking out and more blood trickled down her foot, more than they expected.

"So instead of going to the hospital you tied a scarf around the wound?" He exhaled frustratingly. "I didn't want something else to happen- it feels like the whole world despises me. Can you blame me?" She bluntly said, over it anyway.

"I'm sure they didn't mean to hurt me that bad! They were probably just trying to frighten me."

"Kid you have to do something about it, whether it was an accident or not."

"But"-

The two cocked their heads up at the sound of loud banging on the door, eyes widening.

Authors note:

I highkey feel bad for Karasu. Being bullied is embarassing and being forced to tell an adult is even more embarassing.

I swear the school counseller once asked me that and I just stared at her like: 👁👄👁... next question-
