Instead of going to bed, I went after the small footsteps, tiptoeing to make sure they didn't notice.

Little soft weeps from the corner. "Midoriya!?"

"Ah!" His flinch caused me to back away suddenly. "You've got to stop creeping up on me..." He wiped his eyes nonchalantly.

"What's wrong?" I jogged up to him, patting his shoulder.

"Nothing- I-... it's nothing..."

From the looks of it, he was coping with something. His aura was filled with stress and worry. Some hint of determination was still there.

"Why can't the world be different from how it is?!" He cried out. I said nothing and only watched him as tears slipped out of his eyes faster than a waterfall.

"Where is everyone's humanity gone?! We shouldn't even be called humans anymore!" Pity flooded the inside of my panging chest to see him fail at restraining his emotions.

Inhaling deeply, I helped him sit on the floor, his back against the railings. "Let it all out." I slithered my arm over his shoulder.

"And I can barely do any-anything! Why am I so hopeless!? I just t-take, without yet giving!" He choked on his tears, glaring down at his trembling palms.

"You're not hopeless, infact you are what gives everyone hope." I started. "You're Deku, picture it! In about ten or less years you'll be giving a cheesy lecture to all of japan as the number... one... hero!"

Rubbing his shoulder, I continued on, "Midoriya it seems bad now but there's always something you can do to change the future..."

"How are you so sure that"- he sniffled, "That people think of me as such..."

I gulped, feeling the warmth of my face radiate. "Because I do... I think you're amazing, meeting you was ...serendipity." Hopefully he'd understand the big word I used but then again I kind of wished he didn't because that's just embarassing.

Despite how cheesy that was, I noticed a flustered grin carve onto his lips, giggling slightly.
"That makes me feel like a hero already."

My face lit up with happiness, I couldn't help but look away shyly. "I'm glad it did." I barely said.

For the next four months, everything went by as normal. The girls were keeping me and Tsuyu apart so that we couldn't argue. No one thought to solve the problem... but then again it was probably because Tsuyu refused to speak to me after what I said about her dad.

She was asking for it when she brought up my dad so I brought up hers.

Every weekend Midoriya and I would sit at the rooftop and talk about life. Sometimes even help him when he was feeling crushed.

Surprisingly, the mission we were supposed to go on was moved. Dad said it was because the villains were hiding something and we couldn't locate them. Still, it'd been four months since and we haven't gotten to do anything.

Even when everyone else got to go on missions, Ochaco, Midoriya, Bakugo and I were left to train everyday.

"This is getting way too repetitive..." I caught the towel Bakugo chucked at me and wiped the sweat off of my forehead.

"Yeah but at least we're extra prepared now." Ochaco responded.

"Nothing can prepare us for these kinds of villains, they know how to keep a low profile so if we get caught into their mess then we're done for." Midoriya added, surprising us with his negativity.

"Calm down, we'll be fine you idiots." Bakugou was unusually positive. I cocked a brow at him, suspicious. He's been like this for a few weeks.

A little bit cheerful, even though he tries to hide it badly.

Afterwards I left to go take a jog with him. It's a habit we both picked up. Every time we finished training we'd go for a jog together.

"Bakugo, I'm worried." I finally said. He grunted in response, not bothering to fully ask why.

"Do you have a fever? Why don't you yell as much?"

He frowned and his cheeks faded into a light pink. That only fed into my suspicions. "Do you want me to yell?!"-

"No! Sorry!" I jokingly apologised, smiling at him from the corner of my eye.
He ignored me and glanced away up at the grey clouds, the cold weather helped us with the amount of sweat we worked up.

Some days I could really feel my muscles ache. Sometimes Ochaco begs to feel them which I do laugh at because it isn't much. I just have a bit of bicep and slight abs from the amount of training and work outs us four do.

"When we go back, I wanna take a nap... you wanna cuddle?"-

"What the?!- DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT Y-YOU WEIRDO!" He wailed at me. I laughed at his reaction. I couldn't help but ask weird questions like that, his reactions were too good.

When we finally stopped for a snack break, I chugged the water down, panting for air as some of the liquid dribbled down my chin. The moment I looked away from the bottle I could see Bakugo stare at me, dumbfounded.

I gulped and glared at him. "Quit staring at me like you're a pedophile." His eyebrows deepened and he grumped, running away and leaving me behind. I grumbled to myself, learning the habit from the gremlin himself.

"Wait up!" I crossed the road carefully, barely matching up with his pace.

The moment we got to the dorms, Ochaco was in front of us, blurting out words that made no sense from the speed she was talking.

I caught hold of her shoulders, making her shut up. "Say that again, slowly..."

"Our mission is tomorrow..."

Authors note: ok so Karasu is now good friends with people and Tsuyu is refusing to talk to her.

Maybe something will change her mind. Let's see.

 Let's see
