The next day I was in class and Griffin was waiting for me at his seat. "Hey Nadia." "Hey Griffin. Do you like your new friends?" "Yes, there really interesting." "That's nice." After about ten minutes the teacher hasn't shown up yet and the classroom went crazy. Griffin looked at me. "When do you think the teacher will get here?" I shrug and look outside. It's a nice day. True orange and yellow colors blended together with the sunrise. The bright sun was halfway up the horizon. Then out of nowhere the sky darkens into a grayish blue. It began to rain. The rain didn't look clear though. It was a weird purple color. "Uh oh..." Griffin looked worried. All the kids in class went up to the windows. "What is it Griffin?" "Follow me." He grabbed my hand and ran out of the classroom. He led me to the front doors. "Hey where are we going?" He looks back at me. "Close your eyes Nadia." "Uhh...okay." He ran outside into the rain. I could hear all the droplets land on the floor. Kids yelling in the background from the school. We ran for a while. "Almost there." Griffin said. He slowed down. He stopped. It felt like we were moving down. "Okay you can open your eyes now." I opened my eyes and we were in some cylinder room. "Where is this?" "We are currently going down." "Down where?! What's happening!" "Chill. Chill. I will let the others explain it." "The others?" Just then the room felt like it had stopped. Doors to the left of us opened. There were four people standing at a rectangle table. Griffin walked out and looked at me. "C'mon out." I walked out looking at the people at the table. The person at the end of the table was a girl. She had cyan hair. Her eyes were the same color as her hair. She was wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, and really short blue jeans that had short white strings hanging at the bottom. Her shoes were purple, blue and white. Her skin was kinda tan. She looked kinda nice. The person to the right of her was a boy. He had straight red hair that went down to about to the middle of his upper arm. He had orange eyes. His skin was lighter than the girl. He had messy bangs. His left eyebrow had a scar in it. He was wearing a gray shirt that said 'I woke up like this'. He had on black ripped jeans. He had on a necklace that had a weird red crystal. His shoes were orange and white. He looked pretty intimidating. Across from him was another boy that had black curly hair. He had kinda dark skin. The sides of his head were shaved. His eyes were white. He had a smile on his face which kinda made things less intimidating. He was wearing a purple jacket. His t-shirt under that was white. His sweat pants were black with yellow stripes down the sides. His shoes were gray and red. Another guy next to him had a black sweater on with green jeans. I couldn't see his hair cause he had his hood on. His shoes were red and yellow. Griffin looked at me. "This is the Fortude." "The what?" I was confused. "The Fortude. It's our group." "Is this a gang or something?" The guy with red hair snickered. "No. It's a resistance." "From what?" He led me to the other end of the table to where I was facing the girl at the other end. The girl with cyan hair walked up to me and examined me. "Hmm... purple hair... green sweatshirt... jeans... gray tennis shoes..." she walked back to her spot. "Put your hands on the table" I put my hands on the table. Wind picks up, and a weird black shadow comes out of my hands and covers the table.
