He got closer and he was really tall. My head was at his shoulders, and I'm 5.4! He put his hand out at me. "Hey, there." He said. I shook his hand. He crouched down. "I bet you're wondering who I am?" I nod. "Well...I'm the lighting spirit!" "Oh wow!" "Yup... close... and in person." He stood back up. "So... tell me about yourself Nadia." I blinked a few times. "Oh! Okay... umm... well I'm 19 and currently in college... well... was in college." "Was?" "Yea I was taken here by Griffin." "Oh, yea, I remember him." "Yea I don't know what's happening exactly." "So... what's your favorite color?" "Umm blue." "Okay okay nice choice... now what's your favorite food?" "Uhh... crawfish." "Oh a seafood person?" "Yea." "Now. What's... your greatest fear?" "Well... my greatest fear is being helpless and not being able to do anything..." "oh. Why is that?" "Well. The last time I had friends was in high school I was hanging with my best friend around the city... and... someone jumped us and took our things... while they took our things they held my best friend down on the ground and beat her up... and I was... being held back... I was forced to watch them beat her to a bloody pulp..." tears formed in my eyes and I looked away. "After they were done... they ran away leaving us alone in an alley... I ran over to her... she... she... wasn't breathing..." I heard him sigh. He sat down in front of me."I was helpless... unable to help..." I added. Tears rolled down my face. "Hey. It's okay...it's in the past." He said. I looked up at him. "Come here." He said, holding out his arms. I leaned against him and he hugged me. "I think you should go back now... I'll... see you later... also before you leave. I could hear your thoughts. I just couldn't talk to you until you met me." I nodded and closed my eyes. Everything turned white. I opened my eyes again. Liam, Blaze, Kori, and Griffin were around me. I jumped back startled. "Hey are you okay?" Liam said. "I'm fine... why?" "Well Kori said you began to cry in the middle of meditation." "Oh." "What happened with your spirit?" "Oh he just asked me what my greatest fear was and I told him what it was and why." "Oh." "Anyway I'm gonna just go." I walked out. I felt a tear tuning down my face. "Hmm?" I said out loud. I looked in the mirror in the main area and saw I was crying. I wiped my tears and went back to the gym. *so... spirit... could you tell me how to get good accuracy with my shots? -Yes I can- oh you can talk now -yup, and you can call me Tento- oh okay.* I stood in front of the target from far away. *now... the target... -hey you've been over thinking this lighting is unruly. So just go with the flow. Also you don't have to stand in that silly stance- oh okay -also it's easier if you point one finger at where your going to launch the lighting so it's more accurate- ok thanks* I pointed my index finger at the target aiming it at the target. Boom! It hit exactly where I wanted it to go. I smiled and continued.
