I hate how fast weekends slide past me. When monday finally comes, school sadly follows.

I'm a second year now at katagiri highschool. Crazy it felt like middle school just ended and now I'm almost a third year. Guess time really flies fast, I just wish it would slow down sometimes you know.

Tiredly I get up and take a warm shower with my music blasting in the background.

"Y/n dear you're gonna be late!" Mom yells from downstairs

"crap crap crap" I whisper as I put on my socks.

"I'll be out in a minute!!!" I yell back.

"Hurry" she yells back.

𝙄 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙥 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙧

"Goodbye mom!" I yell as I close the door. If I run I could maybe make it to class before the bell. But that's if I run.

I can't afford another tardy

I use all of my stamina and run all the way to school.

I make it to class just before the bell rings. I'm so glad I'm not late.

"Y/n? Haha you're a sweating mess, are you okay? I can go get you a water" Hori says

"Oh could you please" I plead

"Sure, anything for you y/n" she laughs and walks out of the classroom.

I sit down in my usual seat

Slowly my eyes peak over to Miyamura. Like usual his eyes are in a book. My friends all think he's some weird otaku but after observing him for awhile I don't think that

On top of that he's hot, yes I have a thing for nerdy boys don't judge me

Maybe I should be brave and ask him what book he's reading today, I mean you only live once so why not. But I've never talked to him before is this a good idea? Why did I get so brave all of a sudden, y/n stop overthinking and just do it

I get up from my seat and walk over to miyamura, his eyes shift to my view.

"What book are you reading?" I ask

"Oh uh this? it's (favorite book)" he says

"seriously? that's one of my favorites" I smile

"I'm on chapter 7 right now where the (whatever plot you want) happens. It's so cool!" He says happily

"I love that part! And when the (whatever plot you want) comes in, i couldn't stop turning the pages" I say passionately

"I love that part too" he smiles

I sit down in the desk in front of his and we chat for awhile before the teacher walks in

Unlike everyone says, he's actually very fun and outgoing once you talk to him enough.

I'm glad we got to talk today
