chapt. 15

𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮

We walk together in silence to a nearby coffee shop that's open 24 hours. I've always wanted to go to a random restaurant at 12 am at night. So simple but so exciting

We finally arrive and he opens the door for me to walk into the cute restaurant.

What's even cooler is that there's chill music in the background and the decor is just so pleasing. I love this place already.

"Hey y/n what are you gonna order?" izumi whispers over to me

"Uh maybe a croissant and a hot chocolate" I reply taking out my wallet

"Hey wait don't pay!" He waves his hands around

"Why not?" I ask

"I made you come outside and go here. I won't let you pay" he says

"But-" the look of his face cuts me off

"Okay, thank you" I say

He pays for the food and we walk outside and sit on a table with a good view of the stores in front of it. nighttime is so pretty.

I sip down on my hot cocoa accidentally without blowing on it and burn my tongue.

"Hey are you okay?" He instantly gets up and tries to comfort me

"Yeah just hurts a little" I cringe my face to ease the pain

"Want me to get you a cold water?" He says

"Yes could you please"

"Of course" he says walking into the coffee shop

I look around at the stores in front of me while I wait for izumi to come back. One looks oddly familiar. Oh yeah it's that one I went into to get cute clothes when I was trying to distract myself from Hori and izumi hanging out.

I should probably see what Hori was texting me anyway.

I hope it's not drama, but I know Hori isn't like that. At least the Hori I know isn't.

- hey y/n look I uh, Sorry for being so distant and snobby lately. Honestly. I just really liked miyamura a lot and stuff and when I found out he liked you I kinda got sad and blamed you even tho you did nothing wrong
- I guess we happened to like the same boy at the same time, but I don't want that to get in between us cus we've been friends for almost 3 years and our friendship still means a lot to me, I'm rlly sorry

- it's okay Hori, I don't want a boy to come between us either
- I want my best friend back

- you two are cute and you make miyamura really happy
- we should forget what happened

I put my phone down and watch izumi come out of the coffee shop and to our table with a plastic cup of water and another croissant.

I wonder what's the croissant for

Though I would love another one but He's probably just hungry and bought himself something to eat.

I really am hungry tho

He sits down and hands me both the water and the croissant, wait wait wait. The delicious piece of bread was for me?

"Here you go" he smiles

"this is for me too?" My face lights up

"Mhm, I saw how much you loved the first one so I bought you another one. It might help ease the pain on your tongue too"

"Thank you so much!" I chomp down on the crossing and take a sip of the cold water

"I feel much better now" I smile to myself

"I'm glad" he lets out a sigh of relief

"You mean a lot to me y/n I don't like seeing you get hurt" he gets red and looks away

"Be careful next time okay?" He says

"I will, I promise"

"good" he pats my head
