The doctor busts through the door. His face flushed and exhausted.

He walks over to me and tells me to sit down.

We both sit in silence for a while before he speaks up to tell me the news.

"She's alive"

"She is???!!!" I turn to him

"Yes the surgery was successful. Honesty it's a miracle with such a low survival rate, but there was a minor catch" his voice deepens.

"Her body went under so much shock that it fell in a coma, we don't know if and when she'll ever wake up"

"But she's still alive right" I jump up

"Yes"

That's all that matters.

That one day I'll see her smile again

I'll feel her warmth

Her happiness.

I'll wait.

As long as it takes.

Cus y/n is the first person to make this world a little lighter for me. To open me up to experiences I've never felt before. She is the reason I continue.
