Happy Valentines people, this chapter is a little different. Enjoy!

Before I knew Draco, I though intoxication was the effects of alcohol. Then from potions class, I thought it was the effects of potions. Now I've got a different meaning.

It's when you feel completely absolved in another person. They're all you can think of and when you do, you're heart skips a beat. Butterflies attack you mercilessly and the excitement is overwhelming.

Draco traces each bone on the back of my hand and whispers sweet things into my ear as we pretend to listen to Snape. He normally sits by Pansy, but he managed to convince her and Snape to switch seats.

Snape's POV
If I have to listen to one more laugh, my ears will bleed. I'll have to take points off my own house if Malfoy continues to shame the Slytherin house.

Neither of us have been paying attention when Snape abruptly spins around from his blackboard and eyes everyone slowly before he lands on us.
"Let's see if... Mr. Malfoy knows what we're even learning about."

Draco, who looks completely unfathomed leans against his chair and shrugs with a smirk. I slam my hand over my mouth as I struggle to gulp down a potential laugh.

"Honestly, haven't a clue." He says casually and a few snorts and chuckles can be heard around the class.

Snape slowly shakes his head and lifts an eyebrow at me. "Ms. Roswell?" Suddenly I don't feel like laughing anymore.

I awkwardly remove my hand and straighten up.
"...Potions..." I mumble. More chuckles.
Snape slams his hand onto the blackboard with a loud bang causing several of those sleeping to jump.

I try to read the word which is half covered by his spaced out fingers. "A..Amor...tentia?"

"Which... is?" He asks staring through my soul.

While I think of an excuse a familiar voice interrupts. "It's a love potion. Although it doesn't create actual love, just an obsession with someone, they smell like who you're attracted-"

"Suppose Ms. Granger is now a Roswell." He turns to Hermione. "5 points off each house, apart from Hufflepuff." He peers around at the few Hufflepuffs in the room, probably hoping to catch them being an inconvenience to him.
"Nonetheless, Granger is correct." His face remains the same, but he's clearly disappointed.

He swishes away from the blackboard and goes over to a set of cupboards at the back.
From the depths of the top shelf he takes a heart shaped bottle with a sparkling pink liquid slushing inside. He holds it up for us to see.

There's a certain silent and awe in the air as everyone's eyes are frozen onto the potion.
"If any student breaks it, or steals it they'll spend a month dusting each and every book in the library." Snape says and to everyone's surprise, hands the potion to Hermione who sits at the front.

She narrows her gleaming eyes inspecting it as she turns it over so gently like it's going to break any second.

"We'll pass it on!" Snape groans impatiently which makes Hermione pass it to Ron and Ron without so much of a glance passes it to Harry.

Harry's POV
It wouldn't be surprising if one of them used the potion on the other. Why else would Malfoy and Lily be together?

Finally the potion reaches us at the end. I bring the bottle to my nose and give it a sniff, but I can't smell anything different, but Draco who's beside me. I couldn't possibly smell Draco could I..?

As if answering my question, Draco says. "Does yours smell like me?"

"...Nope, doesn't smell like ferrets."

"Hmph." He wrinkles his nose. "Who does it smell like then?"

"...Ronald Weasley." I tease him.

"...the Weasley..." He grabs the potion out of my hand and smells it himself. "Well... mine smells of Pansy."

I really hope he's joking. "I'm surprised yours smells at all."

Draco scowls at me as I flutter my eyelashes innocently. Suddenly I feel myself heaving over in laughter as Draco's fingers tickle my neck in revenge. He laughs evilly. I reach out my hands to tickle him back but he captures them and plants a kiss on my knuckles.

Horrible timing, as Snape walks over and snatches the potion. "I'll take that. Before you knock it over."

Hermione's POV
I am constantly told to be open minded. But tell me, how can someone be open minded about Malfoy and Lily's so called relationship. If I have to hear them giggling and laughing together one more time, I'll surely vomit.

***

As I walk to my next class I can't stop myself from smiling after that potions class. It was the best one yet and it's all because of Draco-

"Hey Lily."

Spinning around I see a head with a brown hair bobbing through the crowd towards me.
"Cedric, hey."

"What have you got next?" He asks jogging up to me.

"Herbology." I reply.

"I'll walk you. How have you been?"

Confused by his intentions I ask. "Where's Cho?"

After shrugging his shoulders he looks down at the ground. "We got into a fight."

"Oh?"

"Over you actually."

I don't know what I did, but I feel guilty already."Me? What's did I do?"

"Nothing, nothing. She was just being jealous."

"Of me?"

"...I guess she didn't like me talking about you-"

"Diggory!" Booms a voice from behind me. I shudder as Draco slings an arm around my neck and kisses my cheek. "Before you come after my girlfriend, go sort it out with yours."

They battle stare at each other for longer than they should. When Cedric sees that Draco isn't backing down he stuffs his hands into his pockets and stops walking. "See you later then Lily."

I turn back to see Cedric's reaction. He mouths something which seems to be "you deserve better."

"He won't see you later." Draco says coldly with his lip curling slightly up.

"Did you just call me your girlfriend..?"

"...No I did not." He pauses.

"You're jealous of people talking to me when you said it just now, I'm not your girlfriend."

"Doesn't mean I want you talking to someone like him. He just wants your attention as you're popular now."

He's right. I went from invisibility to fame, for dating Draco.
Our secret couldn't even last till the end of March. Rumours were spread and everyone knew and for once I was in the spotlight, dating Slytherin's celebrity.
Many people despised me, others were jealous, and a lot of Slytherins are nicer. I'm still friends with Luna and the trio but I know they're not particularly happy with me dating their bully.

But now it seems that I've got another enemy - Cho.
As Draco and I walk to Herbology, I see her leaning against the wall alone. Her puffy eyes are accompanied with dark bags under them.

Cho's POV
That attention seeker. She's got Draco and now Cedric is after her. Is she hooking up with all the popular boys now?! Who's next? Harry Potter? She will ruin us all.
