The rumors spread like wildfire and unintentionally, Hogwarts has split into 2 opinions. Either I'm the attention seeker, or Cho is.
As I get ready to meet Draco up at the astronomy tower, Cho sniggers to her friends. "Guess which one she's off to see now?"She glares at me like the way she's been glaring at me for the past week. Every time my eyes randomly land on Cho's, she's always staring furiously through my soul like a toddler throwing a silent tantrum.
"My boyfriend," I say, even thought Draco and I haven't made it official. "Don't worry it's not yours. Wait... you don't even have a boyfriend anymore."
Her face crumples as she struggles not to cry... again. "Watch yourself Roswell, or I'll-"
"Lily!" Luna runs up to me, oblivious to the tense situation. "It sure is a lovely afternoon. Want to take a short walk around the grounds?"
"Sorry Luna, I'm meeting up with Draco," I emphasise his name specifically for Cho. She merely rolls her eyes as I swing open the door to leave.
I slam the door shut, but not before Luna leaves the room to accompany me. With her fingers, she spins a strange pendant around her neck. I don't question it, it's probably something to do with one of her creatures.
"What's wrong with Cho?" She asks."She's got this fantasy in her head, that I'm stealing her Cedric."
"Jealousy does make people do abnormal things."
"That and she's got some sort of hatred towards me!"
"Maybe there's just too many wrackspurts in her ears," Luna suggests and leaves me, skipping down the stairs happily as I make my way to Draco.

When I come inside the tower room, his eyes are glued to the floor but then they slowly peel away to look at me, angrily. Despite his bewildered expression, he looks like he hasn't slept well. He's put hardly any effort with buttoning his shirt and his hair dangles on his face carelessly.
I force a laugh. "What's wrong with you grumpy?"
"Hoping you could answer that." He grumbles. As I finally walk the length of the astronomy tower to him, I reach my hand out to place it onto his shoulder. Instead of appreciating my comfort, he steps away.
I sigh. "Alright, what did I do now?"
"Did you, or did you not snog Diggory yesterday."
A look of pure jealousy is all I can see as he bites his lip and raises his brows. My heart stings, I would never do anything like that!"Draco... you know I wouldn't."
His expression falters, and shame sets in for accusing me of kissing Cedric. "Who told you that I did?" I ask, even thought I'm pretty certain of the culprit."...Pansy-"
"Parkinson! No doubt about it." Angry tears well up in my eyes and I feel a hot one run down my cheek.
Draco reaches his hand to my face and wipes it away. "Lily..."
"I'm just so done with all these rumors and accusations! Why can't people believe that I genuinely like you!" His eyes sparkle for a second, reflecting the dim candles around the room. "I'm so done with this."
"You're not breaking up with me are you?"
"God no. I knew this would be hard, but..." he stands and walks over to the door. "Where you going?"
"I'm gonna get Pansy before you two kill each other."
To my surprise, he blows me a kiss. "See you later."***
