After I freshened up, I joined Lucien for breakfast.
- There are some matters I want to discuss with you.
- Go on.
- You have a dress fitting today for your couronation gown. I will acompany you tomorrow and stand by you while courunation. I hope you know how everything goes and I don't have to explain to you?
- I certainly do. There is no need.
- Splendid. And, I have some free time, so if you would like, after your duties today we could walk around the village square or the gardens.

I do not understand why he was so nice today.
- I would love that.
- Great, then meet me outside.
I nooded. And we continued to eat our breakfast.

After the dress fitting I made my way to the location, Lucien was already waiting for me.
- So, where do you want to go?
- Actually, your majesty, I don't want to walk around the gardens or the village.-
His eyes widened.
- Then where do you want to go?
- Can we go horse ridding? I want to go to the fields.
- The fields?
- Please?
- As you wish.

We grabbed our horses and started to ride. It was quite quiet for a while until he started to talk first.
- I am sorry if I made you mad yesterday, I know our marriage is painful to you and you would much rather marry lord Jasper but from now on I will try to be the husband you deserve.
- I kindly take your apology and I want to apologise also for reacting this way and causing trouble. Please, I don't need you to pretend to be a good husband and try to make me happy. I can't bear on letting another person sacrifice himself for me. So go on, have mistresses or other women in general, because I will never make you happy, your majesty.
- Levina, I will never in my life cheat on another woman, my family thought me better than that. We are tied to be together for the rest of our live, so we have to make this work.
- Your majesty I don't believe in love, I warn you in advance I can be your friend, your ally, companion but not a lover.
- Then be my friend?
I gigled.
- Alright, I take your offer.

We made our way to the field. It was full of multi colored flowers and strong scents. I jumped of my horse and started walking around it. It was my favorite place while growing up.
Lucien followed my steps and jumped of the horse.
- I loved to play here with my brother while we were growing up. He would always chace me around this field.
- Must be fun, do you miss being a kid.
- Yes, I had to worry about nothing. I felt free.
- Well, I can let you feel that way again. Go ahead, run.
- You are kidding me right? We are adults, we can't just play tag.
- One, two..

And I started running. He started to chase me. I was always in a good shape and was very fast but these damn gowns were always in my way. He was chasing me for a few minutes more until he catched up and grabed my waist. I guess he didin't calculate his speed because he bumbed into me and took me down with him onto the ground. We were both laughing for a minute and finally our eyes met. We stared at each other, knowing, that we have a lifetime together. For the rest of the time, we talked, joked around and I was actually felling happy. The evening came around we watched the sunset together and decided to get back to the palace. On the way back, we had to get trought the forest. Usually, it is pretty safe, but we started hearing weird noises. Thiefs.
Lucien took out his sword. And ordered my horse to run. And we ran. But the bandits jumped in front of us. They started scaring my horse until he trew me off the saddle. One of them quicly grabed me and  putted a knife over my troat.
- Let her go, it is your kings command!
- King or not, she is valueble.
- Stay the fuck away from my wife!

This morning I was still feeling sceptical about Luciens intentions and my duties as a wife, so I attached a knife to my leg. While the thiefs were distracted talking with my husband I slowly pulled it out and played the man.  He was now under my hand and I was holding a knife under his troat. Lucien was slightly shocked but so were the others, so as wise as he is he attacked the men until only one was left. The one under my hand. He nooded me to let him go and he pierced him with the sword. Before the thief colapsed, Lucien wispered something in his ear and took out his sword.
After that, Lucien putted me onto his horse as mine ran away and quicly rode us back to the palace.
