Pico and Keith got coffee, sitting in Pico's car, enjoying themselves, and bonding.
It was pretty early in the morning.
" Hey Pico?. "
" Hm? " Pico took a sip of his coffee.
" I've noticed you've had a..uh...gun with you....What's that for? " Keith whispered.
" I-I....well... "
Pico didn't know what to tell Keith, he didn't want to frighten him even more.
P- " I don't use it on people out of nowhere...it's just for protection..To protect myself or others from threats. "
K- " Well, how come you don't have a taser or pepper-spray with you instead..? Does it have to be something more extreme..? "
P- " Well...I guess..I guess it does. "
K- " How come..? "
Pico went quiet.
K- " ...That's kinda concerning... "
P- " Oh..well..Sorry I frightened you a bit.. "
K- " Nah, it's okay..You said it's for protection and nothing too serious!.. "
Keith put his hand on Pico's, and Pico blushed from that.
" It's fine! "
" O-oh..okay.. " Pico felt nervous.
Keith pulled his phone out of his pocket and tried to turn on his phone but it didn't come on.
" Why will my phone not turn on.. " Keith questioned.
" Try holding the power button firmly. " Pico answered.
Keith did exactly that and it turned on quickly.
K- " Ohh..I'm dumb, sorry. "
P- " Nah, you're not. You just didn't know. "
" Eheh..Thanks.. " Keith smiled.
Keith looked at his phone that had nineteen missed messages.
While he read them, his eyes widened.
