I thought to myself. The island I was heading to was never touched by mankind, it was completely deserted. No human was living there, and it was a huge discovery that there was something with no humans living there. Just plants and plenty of bugs.
Why was I leaving my perfectly fine living in a bustling city to live on some weird, deserted island? Well... I want to live the deserted, peaceful island life. I could start a community here, and this island getaway package is helping me. The staff and head of this island getaway package! I repeated that to myself. I did it to assure myself that everything was going to be ok.
Tom Nook is the recruiter, who's going to be mainly helping everyone and organizing everything. He said that there would be 2 more people boarding with us, but I looked around and couldn't find them. Two of Tom Nook's nephews, Timmy and Tommy, were boarding the plane with us and were assistants, but I couldn't see them either. It felt alone and odd.
"Good afternoon everyone!"
I got started by the voice coming from the intercom. I assumed it was the captain speaking.
"This is your Captain Wilbur from Dodo Airlines speaking, we are now ready for takeoff on flight 731NOOK Deserted Island Getaway."
I recognized that voice. It sounds like the strange language I was hearing. But this time I could understand it. It was English, But it still had that.. Feeling.
"Thank you for taking this charted flight as part of Nook Inc.'s Deserted Island Getaway Package. Right now, our team would like to present to you what your glorious island life future with Nook Inc might look like. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy a complimentary video presentation about deserted-island life."

While it was just a.. short presentation... That video convinced me. It had a cute animation and nice graphics. Of course, It's an animation, right? There can't be any cute little human-like animals wandering on that island.
After the plane lifted off, I felt more relaxed. Nook Inc was fully covering all of our basic needs! All I paid for as of now is the ticket.. right?
As I watched the plane go up from the city into the clouds, I daydreamed about what might happen. With every scene I imagined, The plane went up higher and higher until all I could see from the city were little dots.

I grabbed the blanket inside the airplane seat basket and sat comfily. It was getting darker and darker. The time was 5:51 PM. I put on my headphones and listened to my calm playlist. I drifted off to sleep, again.
