I went back to my tent, and there were 2 packages inside. I opened them and it was a lamp and a radio! I unfolded my camping cot and sat on it. This day was an emotional roller coaster. This was the most... eventful day in my life. I don't think anything else will compare to the level of emotions I've felt today.

I laid my head back and got into a comfortable position to fall asleep, while the soft, fluffy blanket I had wrapped me around.

I slowly closed my eyes to relax and fall asleep, until my thoughts started surrounding me until I wasn't able to stop. My eyes widened when I realized what I've doneー Or what I haven't.

I haven't talked to ANY humans in the last.. fifteen or so hours?!

"I- No wonder I've.. I... What was I doing here?! I had to escape. There's no sign of humans here and I'm probably going insane, and these animals are talking a whole other language like no other. My friends and family probably think I'm dead, and poor mom is worried sick! I told her I'd text her as soon as I got onto the Island! In fact, I haven't even checked my phone since the plane started flying!"

I felt a wave of worry, and I felt as if time was slowing down. My body jumped up from the small sleeping cot, in fear of what was going on and if this was all a dream. I slapped myself, desperately trying to wake up from this fever dream. I sat there for a few minutes, crying, while my arms were shaking. I fell onto the floor looking absolutely everywhere in every single corner for my phone. I was getting hopeless. I could not find my phone anywhere. I kept on sobbing and sobbing, this had to be some kind of sick science experiment! I was just hoping the night would pass to tomorrow morning and they would all just take off their animal costumes and reveal themselves. Then they'd give me money for surviving the science experiment and I could leave this island!

I laid there, silently crying on the rubber tent floor. I didn't hear anything from the other animals at the plaza; they were probably planning something, I speculated.

A while passed and I had stopped crying, but I was still so confused and worried about what I got myself into. I weakly got myself up, grabbed my blanket and laid on the sleeping cot. All I could hear were crickets in the wild and the passing river beside me. It was honestly calming, but it was odd that I couldn't hear anything! Not even the crackling campfire in the plaza. Suddenly, I heard little footsteps in the grass, someoneー or something was coming. I reached over to the lantern on my right and turned it off. The footsteps got closer, but they weren't scary like a giant bear hiding in the forest was about to attack me.

"Hello?" A voice whispered.

My eyes widened, but I didn't respond.

"A-are you there? I heard some sobbing.. Are you ok?" The voice murmured in a low tone.

I couldn't recognize who's voice it was, but it had a nice sweet tone to it. I couldn't leave them there alone, waiting for an answer, so I turned on the lantern and decided to respond.

"Well, I'm just so scared and confused. Maybe I'm just homesick." I sighed.

"Oh.. I'm really sorry to hear that. By the way, This is Cherry. Sorry I interrupted you, Were you asleep?"

"No, I was trying to fall asleep, but my thoughts wouldn't let me." I replied.

"I'm really sorry to hear that. I've had a lot of struggles in my life too, and I've always gotten out of them safely, Maybe I can help? My friends say I always give great advice. They call me their big sister." She beamed.

"Woah, thank you so much Cherry! Maybe you could help, I'm just worried about everything. If you want, You can come in the tent and we can talk." I told her.

I sat up and unzipped the tent opening.
