"Ares, you need to get up, The headmistress wants us in her office now" Flora shoved me awake similar to a few days prior, as I tried to sit up a huge migraine hit me like a bus. "Ow fuck! what happened?" I applied pressure to my head as flora chuckled lightly. "On our way to get Stella you passed out, we got her back, and she's fine. But we're kinda grounded" She rubbed the back of her head and chuckled awaiting a bad response from me. "What? wait- what did I do?" I looked at her in the curiosity of what I did to deserve punishment for literally nothing when she put on her pity smile. "your a part of the Winx too, even if you weren't involved" she stood up from my bed and made her way to my dresser where she picked me a grey oversized sweater, a white tennis skirt, and converse before telling me to get ready cause we needed to leave soon.

"I still don't understand why I'm being punished too!" I yelled as she sped out of the room. My mind spaced back to that day, I needed to talk to the Headmistress about it. Why was I able to sense magic power so strongly? to the point where it made me pass out, it just didn't seem right. I quickly put on the outfit Flora picked for me before I made my way to the main room where all the girls sat chatting. "I'm ready?" I received a hug from both Stella and Bloom reassuring me I was ok before heading towards Faragondas office, preparing myself for whatever unrighteous punishment I would receive.

We made our way into the office as Griselda stood sternly next to Faragonda, luckily I was excused from the punishment due to me not being present when they broke into Cloud Tower but I was still grounded. The overbearing punishment conversation went by quickly as the other girls were released and I was asked to stay behind. The cold air of punishment left the room when I was by myself, Mrs. Faragonda returned my magic before standing.

"The girls told me you passed out, is that right?" She closed her eyes as if to focus on my answer, "yes that's correct" I answered quickly before she met my eyes. "Ms. Peters I believe you have a gift very few are born with, Magic Sense. The ability to sense magic in all five forms without having to go through previous training" she smiled at me proudly before continuing. "at the Black lagoon you were overwhelmed with dark magic in such a short amount of time that you passed out" she repeated thinking I didn't understand the first time, it was all just very confusing.

"Your gifts pile up, Ms. Peters. Though you haven't completed your transformation, your magic ability along with your magic sense is very powerful, being able to hold off so many strong forces of dark magic is an astounding feet" she paused for a second to calm her smile "fairies like you come once in a millennium" She complimented looking to Griselda who nodded at me. "I think, Mrs. Faragonda, that it's anything but a gift" I looked down at my hands that caused so much damage, to myself and others.

"it's a cruel world, Ares. Right now you only see the worst side of your magic, death, but you're ignoring the pure brilliance of the other side, life" she spoke like a poet, words that should make sense but just don't.

"what does that mean?" I sighed exasperatedly as so many questions were filling my mind at the blatant words.

"Your powers are to be feared" he webbed her fingers against the dark mahogany seat as his gaze stayed low. "And what does that mean?" I was grasping for straws, I needed an answer and she wasn't giving them to me. "From what you and I have seen, you can not only increase the strength of your life force for periods of time, making you ultimately stronger, but your powers can drain the life of those it comes into contact with" she paused before looking at me. Her silver eyes shined brightly, somehow providing me with a sense of hope. The elder woman seemed extremely excited.

"You can either take the life force from something else and give it to another, or...take your own and give it to someone" she stopped herself from growing further as the information seemed too much even for her to handle. "Gods..." I gripped my hair, pulling it back before I remembered the night, did I use my own life to heal Bloom? Is that why I was asleep for so long or-
