Eros stands in my doorway, well-dressed and holding a bouquet of blood red roses. He is frozen in shock, his expression dumbfounded and fearful.

"...Eros, I didn't know you were coming," I stammer. "I told you I was busy."

Eros sighs and shakes his head in disbelief. "Yeah, I thought I'd surprise you."

"I'm busy right now."

"You just, kept weaseling your way out of seeing me, I had to take initiative."

Apollo scoffs and lays down on my bed, his arms behind his head as he watches the show.

"Weaseling?!" I protest. "I have a life, Eros. I already had plans this morning, try to respect that."

Eros throws the bouquet down on the floor. "Yeah, I see that now." His mood shifts from anger to sadness as he seems to tear up. "But Apollo, of all people? I picked up a vibe, but I can't believe you two are...."

"WHOA, wait what?" I laugh. "Eros, Apollo and I aren't...you know..."

"Sleeping together?" Apollo smirks, turning to Eros. "Rejection hurts, doesn't it?"

"Hey!" I slap Apollo's leg and turn to Eros. "I promise there's nothing between me and Apollo. We're just studying. I told you that we have a project together."

Eros sighs. "Okay, I believe you." He sits down next to me and takes my hand.

Apollo rolls his eyes. "Well, that was delightful. As much as I loved seeing that wonderful couple's fight, can you two resume this later?" He turns to me. "I'd like to finish planning our trip."

"Trip? You two are going on a trip?" Eros retracts his hand from mine.

"Yep, all the way to earth. Just the two of us." Apollo waggles his eyebrows suggestively.

Eros scoffs. "I thought you two were a studying!"

"We are," I assure him. "For the assignment we have to visit a city on earth."

"That sounds... intimate."

"It will be," Apollo teases.

"Cut it out!" I growl at him.

"Oh come on," he smiles. "If your relationship can't last a few sarcastic remarks then it was nothing to begin with."

Eros shrugs. "Apollo is right."

Apollo sits up. "Hold up, he agrees with me? I take it back. Why has he got to sit in on our study session anyway?"

Eros rolls his eyes. "You won't notice I'm here. Just work on your project."

"I can't focus while you're judging me."

"I'm not judging you!"

"Oh, so you're just threatened by me."

"Why the hell would you think that?"

"You're obviously jealous," Apollo laughs. "Come on, even if I did want to steal your boyfriend you really think we'd get at it if you left? Just get out of here and meet up after Hermes and I are done."

"He's not my boyfriend," I grumble. "And can the two of you quit it? I've got a terrible headache and would rather not listing to petty fighting currently."

"You've got a headache?" Eros puts his hand to my forehead. "I'm so sorry, babe."

"Oh, disgusting." Apollo winces at the sight. "He's just hungover, alright? Quit your overprotective boyfriend mantra."
