Dear Kate,
I wish you could forgive me. We were once the closest friends, and now I don't even know where you are. You were the first person I ever got to have a sleep over with, and at one point we were about to become cousins!
Then my uncle dropped your mom like an old pair of shoes. It just so happened that we ended up fighting, too. I'm sincerely sorry, and I hope you're ok.
