Basically, your an assassin and you later find out the target given to you is your best friend Yabuki Nako who left you 5 years ago to go back to Japan

3rd Person

"Seong Y/n you're here at last"  the boss said as he placed a file in front of Y/n.

"New target?" she asked while grabbing the file making him nod before he started to speak

"We have no pictures of her as you can see but she's kinda famous in Japan and is going to be in some sort of event in two hours, you know what to do right?" The girl nodded listening to every word intently before saluting.

"I'll get it done" she answered before leaving the room.

"Nabuki Yako why is that familiar?" She thought while scanning the targets personal information.

"Same height as my best friend who went back to Japan five years ago cute" Y/n mumbled and chuckled softly as she started having flashbacks of the two of them a few years ago remembering the times they would tease each other, eat together, play around everything it brought back a sense of nostalgia making her sigh as she knew she couldn't return to those days anymore.

"I wonder how she is now" she thought sighing cause of the fact they had lost contact when the both of them started college so she didn't know what was going on in the shorter girl's life anymore.

She sighed for the nth time before checking her watch "I guess I better head to the venue now" she thought as she grabbed her keys from her pocket and started heading to the parking lot.

"Another target for you this week?" her colleague asked all of a sudden making the girl nod as a reply.

"Well good luck then" she said before leaving.

Meanwhile, at Nako's side, she was currently preparing for the event she had in store for her today "Nako-chan you ready?" Hitomi her best friend asked.

"Yep I just need to grab my bag and phone" Nako said as she looked for her phone confusing Hitomi since her phone was right beside her.

"Nako it's just beside you" Hitomi informed while grabbing it and handing it to her.

"Oh sorry, I forgot thanks" Nako says as she places the phone inside her bag.

"Are you thinking about her again?" the slightly younger girl asked.

"Yeah I just wonder how she is we haven't been contacting each other at all and I'm just curious I guess" the shorter girl tells and sighs.

"Anyways come on Sakura-chan is probably waiting for us already" Hitomi says while pulling the slightly older girl down to the car.

"Nako-chan I get that we just got here yesterday and you're already thinking about her but focus on the even for now ok?" she continues making the shorter girl nod.

"Thanks, Hitomi now let's go!" Nako exclaims excitedly anticipating the event that was prepared for her that was gonna happen in a few hours.

Back to Y/n, she was already at the spot where she was gonna kill her target seeing all the people in the area made her think that the target must've been really important until she recognized 10 familiar figures in the crowd "IZ*ONE unnie's?" she thought surprised.

"Why are they here? And how is Sakura unnie here isn't she supposed to be in Japan?" she starts to think while grabbing her sniper to check the area until she spotted a car stopping towards the entrance.
