3rd Person

"Liz we're vampire"

Those words had remained in Liz's head for a few weeks now and she couldn't get them out of her head no matter what she did. Naoi Rei, the girl who would sacrifice all her time just to keep her company during her night shift, the sweet and ever-so-kind girl that she had gotten to know these past few months was a blood-sucking vampire?

"I must be in a long and weird dream right now" she thought to herself as she remembered the events that had happened that day trying to yet again convince herself that all of this was a long and very weird dream. Yet the faint bite mark on her neck said otherwise, add the fact she had proven to herself way too many times already that this was indeed NOT A DREAM and in fact REALITY.

She frowns slightly, still not believing that the person she had been hanging out with every night was one of those mythological creatures, one of the monsters in those 'legends' and other rumors people would spread. She groans softly for the nth time that day her head was aching from all the thinking and the fact she was in class 'trying' to listen to their current lecture was not helping her one bit.

"Ms. Kim Jiwon" her professor called so she could answer a question yet she didn't budge, the pain in her head, as well as the fatigue she felt throughout her body, got the best of her. She couldn't hear anything, moving any part of her body felt like it was a huge chore and everything felt like a blur to her.

"She's not feeling well professor" her seatmate who also happens to be one of her closest friends Jang Wonyoung says.

Their professor observed Liz from the front of the class thinking Wonyoung was lying because the girl's head was on the table making it look like she was just sleeping peacefully. When Liz slowly turned her head up and leaned onto Wonyoung's shoulder though, the professor immediately noticed the tired expression she had plastered on her face the professor even noticed how pale the girl was and this confirmed that Wonyoung was telling the truth. Liz was indeed not alright "Ms. Jang, Ms. Ahn can you two kindly escort her to the clinic? As for you Ms. Kim please kindly notify me earlier next time if you're not feeling well."

The two said girls nod and immediately comply "Liz here get on my back that way you wouldn't have to walk all the way to the clinic" Ahn Yujin her other seatmate and also another close friend of hers says, she was already kneeling down offering her back for the younger girl.

"I'm fine though" Liz says trying to convince her friends that she was ok. She failed because they had already noticed the tired look on her face, as well as the tone of her voice, she sounded so drained like something was sucking the life out of her each passing second.

Wonyoung brought a hand up to the girl's head and softly stroked her hair to calm her down, this made Liz move closer to her warm touch "We're gonna get you to the clinic so you can rest up a bit ok? We'll help you catch up with whatever you miss" the bunny-like girl says as she continues to stroke the girl's hair.

The girl only closes her eyes and hums as a response before nuzzling closer to Wonyoung making her friends chuckle "What a baby we have here" Yujin says with a soft smile.

Wonyoung slowly brought Liz's head off of her shoulder but she earned a soft whine causing the two to look at each other worriedly "Wonnie~" Liz said tiredly, hugging the girl tightly as she didn't want to let her go.

"Ok ok, I'm here" the bunny says reassuringly, as she slowly brings her arms underneath the girl to carry her in her arms.

Liz brings herself closer to her fellow 04 liner's chest once she successfully carries her, while Yujin gets up and helps Wonyoung in case her strength gives out. They hastily make their way out of the classroom "What do you think happened?" the oldest of the three asked as she worriedly stared at the girl in the bunny's arms.
