3rd Person

Chaeyeon and Y/n, they were one of the best couples you'd ever know, probably because of the fact they were inseparable plus they were always so sweet towards each other, so caring and so lovey-dovey, they had that type of love that everyone wished to have and experience. You could even say that their relationship was perfect.

Too bad not everyone can meet even their own expectations, no relationship is as perfect as everyone thinks there is always a downfall and for them, their downfall was Chaeyeon's job. Ever since that job promotion, she got busier and busier by the day to the point that she was too busy to worry about spending her own time with her family. This problem of theirs that had been going on for a year now and it has caused them to continuously fall apart and grow distant from each other each day, the situation they were in was extremely tragic you could say. A once so loving and perfect couple are no longer in proper terms with each other all because of a simple change in schedule.

The once clingy Chaeyeon would only give her wife and children a cold glance once she's at home, the once so bright feather wouldn't even give the attention her wife and children needed, the once so lovely atmosphere in their home turned into something tense and dark. Everything had changed, even their two young twins noticed it easily. This problem wasn't just hurting the couple's relationship, it was hurting the entire family they made together and it was only getting worse due to the arguments that the two girls had gotten into every day.

"Why are you late again?" Y/n asked, once she saw her wife open the door and take off her shoes the woman was once again late, she had to stay overtime due to the number of files placed on her desk once again.

"A lot of files were given to me again, what's for dinner?" the taller asked, setting her briefcase and other stuff down before heading into the kitchen only to find some cold malatang leaving her wife sighing to herself in the living room "You always overwork yourself" she thinks with a blank look etched onto her face showing how tired she was of hearing that statement for over a year now.

"Can't you just do those tomorrow and come home early for once?" Y/n asked tiredly.

"Y/n you know that I'm doing this for us" Chaeyeon answered slightly younger woman before grabbing a spoonful of malatang to eat.

"I know that you are doing this for us Chaeyeon but you don't even spend time with us anymore do you even remember what day it is today?" Y/n says with a scowl knowing the feather had no clue about the date today.

"It's Tuesday, Y/n what about it?" the older asked, casually stuffing her mouth with some more food which made her wife even more pissed.

She huffed walking over to the taller before slapping her hard catching Chaeyeon off guard by the sudden aggressiveness "IT'S THE TWINS BIRTHDAY AND IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY YOU PROMISED YOU'D BE HERE TODAY!"

The feather couldn't even bring herself to speak once she heard it, how could she forget such an important day like their precious twins' birthday and their anniversary? "What have I done?" she asked herself as she turned around staring at the woman who already had tears streaming down her face, the sight shattered her heart.

"I know you're doing this for us Chaeyeon but that doesn't mean you have to devote all your fucking time and effort just for us to earn a living" Y/n said frustratedly even slamming her hands onto the poor dining table which could only handle so much.

"Y/n I-" Chaeyeon says trying to apologize to her angered wife but it's already too late "Don't even try to apologize Chaeyeon it's been a year already I'm surprised I had to tell you all this just so you could realize how much of a workaholic you are" the younger told before turning her back to her.

"Y/n I'm sorry really I am" the taller apologized as she wrapped her arms around the woman's waist even though she herself knew an apology wasn't enough for such a thing like this.

"Don't apologize to me when you knew yourself what you were doing to us" Y/n says forcefully pulling herself away from her.

"Now it's either you fix it or break it the choice is on you" she thinks while walking away from Chaeyeon and into the twin's room.
