Hello again I'm so so sorry this took a while I've been so busy with life and college its been hell anyways as I was writing this I started to relapse a bit over an ex-crush of mine :') so most of this, like the emotions, the inner turmoil about whether to confess or not plus the part where they text (this part actually was similar to what we actually said) was based on that experience but how things went down here and what happened between me and her are a bit different so ya hope you guys like this <3

3rd Person

"Tomorrow's the day my dude, you good to go?"

"I honestly think we should back out Ryu..."

"What? Are you crazy we worked on this for months!" the girl exclaims, not believing the words coming out of her own friend's mouth at that moment.

"I agree, you worked hard on this, and besides I already told Chaeyeon unnie that you needed to talk to her so you have to go through with this"

At the sound of the new voice the two turn their heads towards the direction of where it came from and the moment they see who it is Ryujin immediately springs up from her sitting position and takes light steps towards the person "Chaer!" she says excitedly, engulfing her lover into a tight hug as if she hadn't seen her for years.

"Oh great, I am once again the third wheel" the boy said, his voice practically dripping with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes at the two, though on the inside he couldn't help but be happy for them. Third-wheeling did get very tiring for him from time to time since they were always so sweet with one another that it almost made him want to gag, but he was happy that both of his friends had found their happiness with one another. (a/n: glad that Y/n here is just third wheeling please what about me that's now a 7th wheel :'>)

Chaeryeong returns the gesture "You wouldn't be third wheeling if you just confessed to my sister already Y/n."

The boy huffs before he starts to pout knowing Chaeryeong is just telling the truth, he really should just go through with his plan and confess to his very long-time crush already but thinking over it again literally anything could go wrong. This was Chaeryeong's sister they were talking about after all, she was just as unpredictable as Chaer in a lot of ways. What if she rejected him? What if this ruins his friendship with her and maybe even his friendship with Chaeryeong? What if she ends up ignoring him or worse straight-up disgusted with him?

He can't help but overthink the entire situation and it makes him sigh, he's frustrated but now that Chaeryeong literally told her sister already he can't do anything but go on with it even if he decided not to, then he wouldn't even know the results if he didn't try, so he had no choice. For the nth time that day, he goes over the plan he created in his head as if that would help ease the nervousness that he built up and this obviously doesn't go unnoticed by the two.

The moment they notice the boy go silent, they decide to give him a bit of encouragement and comfort knowing how badly the boy can overthink once he starts "Y/n, we're here" Chaeryeong said earning a small hum from him. He knew that, all too well at this point, they were there the moment he decided to finally confess to Chaeyeon and immediately offered to help in any way they could but in the end this was something he had to do alone.

"You got this alright? Don't worry so much besides remember when you helped me confess to Chaer I was as nervous as you, now look where we are" Ryujin adds hoping that would help comfort the uneasiness he was feeling.

"Yeah, I remember Ryu but I don't know things are different now as much as I wanna confess to her I'm so scared, you know how close we are and how close we've gotten since the last few months I just don't wanna ruin whatever we have" Y/n admits, he has everything planned out although he know's it's not gonna go entirely as he planned he's prepared to confess nonetheless, to tell his feelings despite knowing the fact that Chaeyeon will just outright reject him in the end. Yet he's thinking of backing out all because he doesn't want to ruin whatever the two of them have, even if he's ready to tell her what he really feels for her he isn't entirely ready to face the consequences.
