Jennie

Despite the pure pleasure Jennie got from messing with Taehyung all day about how Soccer was a shit sport by home time her anxiety had returned. As she got into her car and prepared to drive home she realised everything clouding her mind wasn't going to let her rest. She missed her, and she couldn't wait until tomorrow.

So, completely unprepared, Jennie began to drive towards Lisa and Chaeyoung's, or perhaps just Chaeyoung's, apartment block. She wanted to give Rosie her space and Jennie felt guilty about kissing Lisa at last terms party but... It had been over a month since they had really spoken. Not allowing any doubt Jennie parked her car and marched all the way to Rosie's door, stopping only to briefly hesitate before she knocked.

Nothing.

Carefully Jennie tried the doorknob and the door swung open, it caught on a jumper that had been left strewn on the floor causing Jennie to push a bit harder. The door suddenly gave and Jennie stumbled loudly inside.

"What the fuck?"

A weak voice rang out from across the room and Jennie squinted in the darkness. Smelling alcohol she scrunched her nose and closed the door behind herself.

"Seriously Rosie? You skipped school to drink?"

Marching across the room Jennie threw open the blinds and turned to Chaeyoung who winced.

"No actually, the drinking was last night. Today I just couldn't be bothered."

Jennie looked down at Chaeyoung who was slouched down next her bed. Surveying the apartment she noticed it had its usual lack of order with the added bonus of several beer bottles on and around the coffee table. And one in her hand.

Grabbing the drink from Chaeyoung, Jennie scoffed.

"The drinking was last night huh?"

Chaeyoung leant her head back and closed her eyes, speaking in a defeated tone.

"I'm not drunk Jennie. And you don't have to worry about me."

Feeling her chest tighten Jennie sighed and sunk down next to Chaeyoung.

"So, you aren't doing to good."

"I don't know," Chaeyoung grinned at Jennie, "last night I felt pretty great."

"Rosie I'm serious."

Rosie met her gaze with her hazel eyes and smiled sadly.

"Yeah I know, but, I'm okay."

"You don't seem okay you-"

"Jennie. I'm okay, really," Chaeyoung's voice sounded resigned, "I'm not gonna be hung up on someone who didn't even say goodbye. No matter how much I want them back."

Jennie felt her heart sink at the confirmation that Chaeyoung did indeed want Lisa. She felt guilt for ruining what they had, and for kissing Lisa. And she felt jealous.

"I'm sorry."

Chaeyoung laughed and Jennie looked at her incredulous.
