Chapter 18

Chaeyoung

"Rosie."

A deep voice resonated through Chaeyoung's skull and she groaned pulling her blanket tighter around herself.

"Rosie? Hey Rosie you gotta get up."

Still in a sleepy haze Chaeyoung blocked her ears and mumbled for Lisa to leave her alone. Jeez this girl needed to stop breaking into her apartment.

"What was that? Look Rosie I know you're hungover but if my mum knows you stayed the night she'll be really weird about it."

Chaeyoung opened her eyes. That wasn't Lisa, in fact this voice was distinctly male. Also, this wasn't her bed. Oh no no no no no no!

Quickly she sat up accidentally bashing her forehead directly into Felix's who was leaning over her with a worried expression.

"Ow fuck!"

Felix stumbled to the floor rubbing his forehead but Chaeyoung just sighed in relief. She hadn't gone home with some random guy last night which meant her bad decision making hadn't quite led to the worst.

She sat up and yawned as Felix stood up from the floor.

"Sorry man, I'll be out of here really quick. What time is it anyway."

"7:30."

"WHAT!"

Chaeyoung stood up and yelled causing Felix to look around panicked, quietly he tried to calm her down.

"I'm sorry, sorry! I know it's early. Especially for you. I just, my mum is crazy and if she found out we were drinking I don't even..."

Chaeyoung took a deep breath. Seven in the fucking morning.

"Don't worry," she reached out and patted his shoulder, "I'll be gone just, let me sleep a bit longer."

Felix grimaced.

"Rosie I don't know..."

Chaeyoung put her hands up.

"Fine! I'm gone, I'm gone."

After she collected her things and was dressed in sneakers and a hoodie borrowed from Felix she turned to him and smiled at his slightly guilty expression. Stepping forward she gave him a tight hug leaning her head on his chest.

"Seriously Felix, thank you for looking after me last night," tears pricked her eyes and she blinked them away, "uh, no ones ever done that before."

As they separated Felix smiled softly and reached out to ruffle her hair.

"See you at school big sister."
