Lisa
It was Friday lunchtime and Lisa walked out of the school building to look for Chaeyoung. The weather was warm and people had started moving to sit outside in the sun at break. Lisa smiled, she felt happy. Chaeyoung and Taehyung were great new friends, she'd even chatted with BamBam a few times, and the first two dance classes had gone great. Looking around she found Chaeyoung sitting under a tree with two boys.
Chan and Felix, I think.
Those three had really hit it off after Jisoo's party and apparently they shared a few music electives together. Lisa moved towards them when a friendly face appeared blocking her way. As if summoned by Lisa's thoughts Jisoo had appeared before her.
"Hi Lisa!"
"Uh, hey Jisoo," Lisa smiled at the bubbly girl.
"I wanted to apologise for my party... I know my friends are super dumb."
Lisa laughed.
"Don't worry it's all good."
Jisoo nodded seriously then looked around for a second before leaning closer.
"So you aren't mad at Jennie?"
"What? No not at all."
"Okay good," Jisoo sighed, "She'll be happy, I mean, I'm happy. That there is no issues between you guys."
Lisa raised her eyebrow curiously but nodded anyway.
"Well, I hope we can be friends, I followed you on instagram."
"Cool I'll follow you back."
"Bye Limario!"
With that Jisoo left and Lisa laughed going to sit down with Chaeyoung as Taehyung also arrived.
"Hey guys."
"Hey."
Taehyung looked across the yard and his eyes widened.
"Oh no, looks like shit's about to go down."
"Oh fuck," Chan said as they all turned to see what was happening.
Jennie flanked by a few friends was stalking up to a group of younger girls who were sitting on a bench. She looked scary as she stood over them. Chaeyoung turned to Taehyung confused.
"Wait, what's going on?"
"Some girls have been spreading rumours about Jennie," Taehyung whispered to her loud enough for Lisa to hear, "Just a bunch of random shit, but Jennie doesn't let anyone drag her reputation."
He looked thoughtful for a second.
"Well except me but she let's me get away with it cause she secretly thinks I'm awesome."
Lisa scoffed but turned her attention back to Jennie who was smiling brightly as she said something to the middle girl. Suddenly the girl got up and ran off looking distressed as her friends quickly got up to follow her. Jennie looked smug, Lisa frowned.
"What did she do."
Everyone looked back as Jennie walked off and Felix spoke.
"Probably just threatening to ruin someone's life, the usual."
"That's kinda bad isn't it."
Felix shrugged.
"She doesn't do it for no reason. People are always out to get her."
"Why?"
"She's popular."
Lisa felt concerned. Jennie didn't seem to like being popular, in fact, she seemed kind of scared of people. Not in public but from the way she kept her friends close and how fiercely they protected her Lisa could tell Jennie had issues.
"She shouldn't''t be cruel though."
The others turned to look at Chaeyoung as she spoke up. Chan raised an eyebrow with a warning expression.
"Jennie isn't cruel."
"C'mon, tell that to the girl who just ran off crying."
Lisa felt the air become tense before Chaeyoung stood up to leave.
"I'm going to go talk to her."
Taehyung looked up terrified and Chan and Felix looked shocked.
"Wait, Chaeng, I don't think that's a good idea."
"I'm just going to ask her about the situation."
Lisa stood up and grabbed her arm,
"Wait Chaeyoung, maybe you shouldn't..." She trailed off.
Chaeyoung turned to her with a kind smile that made Lisa's heart melt a little.
"Don't worry Lili, I'll be fine."
With that she walked off after Jennie leaving Lisa and the others to watch after her.
Jennie
Jennie watched as the young girl ran off fighting tears. Serves the bitch right. She sighed and walked alone towards the bathroom running a hand through her hair. Why did people always want to spread rumours about her? She didn't get involved with the usual popular kid drama so everyone made up worse things to compensate.
Pushing the door open Jennie looked at her reflection in the mirror for a second before the door swung open loudly behind her and a certain tall girl walked in making eye contact in the mirror. She raised an eyebrow as Chaeyoung spoke.
"What did you say?"
"Huh?"
Chaeyoung breathed out slowly.
"You can't just be mean to people, no matter what they might have said about you," Chaeyoung looked away, "She looked terrified of you."
"Well she should be, I have photos of her."
Jennie studied Chaeyoung's expression curiously as her head shot up eyes shining.
"Pictures?"
Jennie smirked.
"Yeah, if she wants to talk shit then she should be more careful about who she sends her boobs to."
Jennie was surprised as Chaeyoung pulled her around fiercely to face her.
"What the fuck Jennie, that's fucked up."
Jennie scoffed and pulled Chaeyoung's hand off her. The audacity of this bitch.
"Well I think it's none of your business sweetie."
Jennie could still feel Chaeyoung glaring at her as she turned back to the mirror pulling out a lipstick and beginning to reapply it to her lips.
"You deserve to be alone."
Jennie's hand froze and she barely noticed as Chaeyoung stormed out of the bathroom. Jennie gritted her teeth in anger. No one spoke to her like that, especially not some stranger.
