Jennie

"C'mon Jennie, Rosie. I think you guys should just talk about it calmly."

Jennie froze. She turned first to stare at Lisa, then Chaeyoung. Rosie. No it, that- Jennie shook her head. It couldn't be. But as she connected the dots in her head it started to make sense. Chaeyoung had an english name, they lived near each other in Australia. That goddamn blonde hair. Jennie felt herself starting to panic and she began to rationalise. Everything made sense except Chaeyoung. She seemed so innocent, so wholesome, so kind. Then Jennie remembered something. She had talked down to her.

Just like that Jennie was furious, Lisa and Chaeyoung seemed to notice the shift in the atmosphere and looked at her worriedly. Rather than continuing to shout she spoke coldly which frightened the two who had no idea what had caused such a change in Jennie.

"I'm leaving."

Before they could say anything she walked out slamming the door behind her. Jennie's mind raced. She would need to confirm it but inside Jennie was certain. Chaeyoung was the girl she found with Jake so long ago. What made Jennie even madder was how the girl was now pretending to be sweet and innocent. And she had dared to spew moral truths at Jennie.

This would have to be a special type of revenge.

Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung was terrified. Lisa had tried to assure her that Jennie would probably be fine but she knew something was wrong. Every day at school it got worse, tension building each day that nothing happened. Jennie had either forgotten all about Chaeyoung or for some reason she was really mad. From the way all her friends avoided Chaeyoung she assumed it was the latter. Jennie herself was the scariest thing of all. At school she ignored Chaeyoung completely, and she seemed weirdly calm and happy. She spoke to Lisa politely but apart from that would not get near either of them.

"I'm fucking dead."

Taehyung looked sympathetically down at the girl who had her head down on the table in despair.

"Hey, don't worry... She seems to have let it go. Plus, what's the worst she can do?"

Chaeyoung laughed sadly.

"I'm sure she'll figure something out."

Lisa closed her book and groaned.

"Guys we've been spending lunchtime in the library all week. Please tell me that next week if everything still seems calm we can go outside again?"

"Hey, don't act like protecting my life is a burden Miss Lisa. I might actually get stabbed, you saw how she looked at me on Sunday."

"Hm... Still."

Taehyung sat up.

"I agree, if she's going to do something to you we can deal with it then but I'm not sure, it seems like she's decided to forget about you."

"Fine."

Jennie

A week and Jennie had still done nothing. When she woke up Saturday morning she decided she was calm enough and it was time to get the answers she needed. The conflicted feelings in her chest that had been keeping her awake at night had started to die down as she stayed away from her. Jennie had told her friends to stay away from Chaeyoung as well but she hadn't yet said why. They were starting to get a bit annoyed at Jennie's behaviour so she decided to first confirm what she thought about Chaeyoung then to make sure her friends were on her side.

Opening her phone Jennie once again looked through her contacts. She didn't make any close friends in Australia but she still had connections and this one person she knew especially loved to gossip. Checking the time was suitable she pressed call. It only rang a few times before someone answered.

"Jennie? Hey!"

"Hi Ana. I just wanted to ask you about someone you might know."

Jennie could almost hear Ana's excitement through the phone, this girl loved drama.

"Yeah, sure."

"Do you know a Chaeyoung Park."

"Uh.. I don't know..."

Jennie quickly corrected herself.

"Maybe a Roseanne Park?"

There it was.

"Oh her! Yeah I know her," Ana paused to laugh, "Well I know about her."

"What do you mean, about her?"

"You don't know, huh, I guess you left before it became a big thing."

Jennie felt her palms getting sweaty as she waited for Ana to keep talking.

"Well yeah, she didn't go to our school but everyone knows her cause she fucked a bunch of guys here. People started to bet on who she would get with next."

Disbelief filled Jennies head again. She couldn't connect these things with the sweet girl she though she knew, but there couldn't be two Roseanne Parks, surely.

"Oh."

"Yeah and when everything spread online I guess everyone at her school found out and after that no one really saw her."

Well it makes sense why Jennies threat made Chaeyoung so mad.

"Photos?"

"Yeah, and footage of her partying in barely any clothes. Making out with random guys. That kind of stuff."

"Damn"

"So why'd you ask."

"I was curious."

Jennie hesitated for a second before continuing.

"I have a favour to ask you."
