Time jump three weeks...

It's Sunday, the day before Madelaine have to go in for her screentesting. If it was a time where Madelaine was extremely nervous, now would be that time. She was driving around crazy trying to make sure she memorized lines and had the same mindset as Betty.

She was pacing back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room and Jen was just looking at her. She didn't understand why she was so scared. Well, she knew why, but with the confidence and sarcasm Madelaine has, she shouldn't be scared. She wanted to tap in her shoulder, but she didn't know what the outcome would be, so she just decided to call her name out.

"Mads." Jen said in her normal voice. Madelaine didn't respond causing Jen to sigh

"Madelaine." Jen said in a louder voice, but Madelaine didn't respond

"Madelaine!" Jen said loud making Madelaine head pop up from her phone. She looked at her with a concerned look.

"Can you put the phone down and relax? Because you're running racket. Like, go out with Vanessa or something. Or like, do something because this isn't what I want to see or what all day." Jen said as Madelaine groaned and rolled her eyes.

"Jen, this could possibly be a life changer. I need to get this part. The life I was living in Washington needs to change. I really need this part." Madelaine said as she slumped in a chair

"I know. But you driving yourself crazy over this is going to make you auditioning even more nerve wracking than it already is. You need to relax and clear your head." Jen said looking at Madelaine with a reassuring look

"But I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do to 'clear my mind'." Madrlaine said as she pinched the bridge of her nose

"Go out with Nessa, or do something that takes your mind off of everything." Jen suggested as Madelaine just sat there. Before she could respond, she got a text from Vanessa.

She tried to hold a smile, but it failed terribly. Jen just looked at her and started giggling a bit. Madelaine gave her a glare and Jen laughed even harder.

"Someone has a crush." Jen said as a song. Madelaine playfully rolled her eyes and opened the notification.
