ShikaNeji(a Shikamaru and Neji fanfiction)

Chapter eleven

Hey Guys! I'm going to update this story twice today, or at least try to. I'm sorry if any of you cried from last chapter. I should have put up a warning for that on. This chapter will be mostly on Neji because Shikamaru is on the roof. Crying.

Neji's POV

I watched as Ino chase after Shikamaru. I was still in shock. The way Shikamaru shrugged off my hand. It was scary. I stayed in the same place while everyone left me. Or so I thought.

When I was about to leave, I felt three hands on me, one on each shoulder and on my head. I looked and saw Naruto, Sasuke and Chouji. I was picked up by the three and was brought somewhere in the school.

They brought me to a concluded area outside. It was a space in between the fence and the school building. They looked at me, waiting for me to talk.

"What do you guys want?" I asked them.

"Are you okay?" Naruto asked.

"Yes. No. I don't know," I said. "I'm so confused. I've never felt this way before."

"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked.

"I never felt this much feelings before. It's all so new to me." I told them.

"Why is that?" They asked in unison.

"I really really like Shikamaru, but I don't know how to express it to him. I was able to do it with pass ex girlfriends, but this is different." I said.

"Maybe it's because you truly love Shikamaru." Naruto said loudly.

I looked at Naruto. "Yeah. I really do like, love Shikamaru. With all of my heart. But it's just so difficult for me to express it to him. But now, I don't know anymore."

"Well," Sasuke said. "He might just be worried about what will happen now."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean Shikamaru doesn't want you to get hurt like him."

I looked at him. 'Is this why he shrugged my hand off his shoulder?' I thought. 'How will I make it up to him?'

"Hey," I started. "How can I make it up to Shikamaru?" I asked them.

"Well, you can always be yourself." Naruto said.

"You can always be there for Shikamaru."
Chouji said.

"And you can love him for himself." Sasuke said finally.

"Okay." I said. "I'll do my best for Shikamaru."
