"Do you like this dress?" Celina whispered to Hades. The prisoner had tried his best to find a clothing shop in the West that would fit the princess of the East. It had not escaped his eyes how dramatic her dresses and purses were. Not to mention her unique heels that were too tall for what Hades thought was necessary.
"yes" Hades answered as he watched the girl stand in front of him in a short purple dress. It went just below her backside and she thought of how Sebastian had once told her that she was the prettiest with her skin on display. Not to mention the time when he tried to lecture her on which clothes she could not wear, not that he was successful with the stubborn Celina.
"you look pretty" Hades said, looking at her uncertain eyes.
"Hmm I don't know" the girl said, more to herself. She felt uncomfortable and for some weird reason, the whole vibe reminded her of Sebastian.
Hades watched as the girl he had developed a crush for was doubting herself in front of the mirror. "You look great, babe" he reassured her as she turned around to him. Celina sighed and wondered what to tell him.
"You said that about the other dresses too Michael" she said, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"Michael?" he asked with a shocked expression, lifting up his bucket hat to look at her.
"Yeah, Michael" she said as she glared at him to indicate to the cashier who could hear their conversation.
"But yes, I like everything babe" he said helping her with getting into the heels. They were jet black with bows in the front. She held on to his shoulder as he hunched down to tie the bows, one after the other.
"Even the ugly orange one?" she asked, quirking her brow.
"If you like it, that's all that matters" Hades told her, trying to put her nasty comments reflected towards herself to an end.
It did not escape Celina how gentle the prisoner was with her. It was the way in which he respectfully tried not to touch her more than necessary. Or the way he always watched his back to make sure she was following in her insanely fancy clothes. Or the way he blew on her hot drinks before passing them to her. Or in the way he pretended to like her music choices just so she wouldn't be bored. Or or or, it was in the way he draped her with his blanket too when he thought she was asleep when she wasn't-
"This doesn't look right" his velvety voice spoke up and she looked down to see him kneeling on his knees as he bopped his head to her heels that were tied miserably into a knot.
She couldn't help, but let out a giggle at the sight of him.
"I will buy these"

"Who is that?" He laughed at her and playfully pushed her shoulder, to which she punched his arm.
"Oooo feisty" he muttered, watching her face scrunch in disgust.
"Ew don't say that again" she exclaimed and slapped his arm once again. "But come on. Tell me" she said, batting her eye lashes and pouted at him.
He flicked her head, to which she overexaggerated by jumping as If he had seriously hurt her. "Hey! If you want to fight, give me a warning next time. You don't want to catch these hands" she said, holding up her small fists that were decorated with the most expensive pearls from the East.
Hades smirked at her as he took another bite from his burger. "First you have to tell me who that guy on your background is" he told her, pointing to her wallpaper of her current celebrity crush.
"First, tell me how you are a rich bitch" she answered, slurping on her drink.
They were both sitting in the car parking of a random burger place they had found on their way. Hades had rented a new car, an expensive one at that, and the girl hadn't stopped asking how he was "a rich bitch". Not only that, but Celina had noticed how the man had been swiping his card off like a maniac, buying everything for her.
"I am not, honestly" he lied to her and snatched her phone. "But who is this though" he mumbled, sipping his drink as he criticized every feature of the man.
The tinge of jealousy was nothing new for him and upon seeing another man as her wallpaper, he had pretended to make a joke of the situation to gather his role in her life.
"That's my boyfriend" she obviously lied as she kissed the lockscreen that he was holding in front of her face.
"Ew don't say that again" he used her own line on her and gave her the phone back.
"Shut uuup Michael" she tried to get under his skin to irritate him. The journey to find her family friend was getting too long and weeks had passed. At this point, she was getting closer to the man that was once a stranger and as she was getting to know him better, she understood that it took a lot to make him made or even raise his voice. He was a gentle man.
"Okay, Jennie" he answered, hiding his smile.
"Jennie? Its Celina. Celina Scar Moretti, the princess of every easters heart" she held her chin up high and smiled at him charmingly. She really was a character, the polar opposite of Hades.
"Well, I am not an eastern though. So, I will call you Jennie to remember your name" Celinas mouth fell open at his statement, and her eyes budged at this next sentence "Jennie is my ex" he lied.
Not a single second passed by before Celina was about to punch him, but Hades held on to her hand and dragged her closer to himself in the driving seat. She was leaning across the passenger seat as her hand rested on his chest to hold herself up. "Call me Valentino. Hades Valentino"
"Valentino" she whispered, to which Hades felt a shiver go down his back. He nodded, speechless as he saw the beauty in front of him gazing at him with adoration.
"And I will only be called gattina" she whispered in his ear leaning forward.
"Valentinos Gattina"
Was the last thing Hades was able to say before she placed her lips on his, kissing him yet again. And just like all the times before that, he had waited for her to kiss him and not the other way around.
