«Could I have a chocolate brownie dear?" the voice of the old woman at the counter rang out in the bakery.

"Of course ma'am. Would you like a drink with that?" Celina asked politely, smiling at the old woman. She loved how only the old folks visited the café. It held the ignorant Easters out of her space, she liked to think. She occasionally saw the pompous girls of the East walk by the café and eye her in spite and jealousy. Some also in disgust. How could the daughter of the Morettis work in an old looking café?

"What would you recommend?" the older women asked, trying to squint her eyes to look at the menu behind her. The small movement of her eyes reminded her of a special someone, but she shook that thought away.

"How about our classic chai? It is my favourite" Celina advised and tried pointing to the menu that was hanging on the wall. The woman agreed and paid before sitting down on a table close by.

She turned around to her friend Grace who was hard into studying for the next lecture. Celina sighed loudly as she started making the drink for the lady. Grace took a break and decided to help out with giving the woman her brownie as she took one for herself too.

"I hate university" she muttered to herself as she sat down again on her stool beside the counter from where she could talk to Celina. They were both studying law, but Celina had taken a gap year so that Grace could catch up to her. If she passed all her papers, they would start the next year together.

"Oh, I know. I was a walking corpse the whole year" Celina spoke again, not lying at all. She pointed to the lady and excused herself from the conversation to deliver the drink.

Just as she sat the drink down and looked up, the sight of the girls outside catched her by surprise. They were whispering to each other and pointing at her. Celina didn't get a chance to flick them off because in a quick moment their eyes went wide, and they scurried off. She turned around in confusion, but the sight of Grace almost running out with a slipper in her hand made her gasp.

"Gracie!" she screamed at her best friend who was in the street almost sprinting behind the girls. "What?" she asked, her eyes begging for Celina to talk faster.

"Take this" was the only thing Celina said as she handed her a water pipe. They smiled at each other evilly before turning on the water and running after the girls like maniacs.

"It had to be done" the older women shrugged as the two girls sat on the counter stools with completely wet clothes. Blake, the head guard, was standing by the door and watching everything in amusement.

"The bitches deserved that" Grace said to which Celina giggled and laughed seeing Blakes eyes go wide.

The giggles and smiles were all wiped off when Sebastian walked in and halted in his steps.

"What happened here?" he asked, utterly confused as to why his fiancé was sitting with wet clothes in a bakery that he deemed too disgusting for his taste.

"Uhm-" Celina hummed as she looked at the others for help. She didn't want to say anything because she was positive that something rude would fly out of her if she was to say something.

"I cannot believe that you are standing her like that. What if someone sees you? I don't want my future wife to be anything other than great. Celina I-" Sebastian hissed as he pinched his nose in irritation. He was holding back from screaming in front of the people in the bakery and therefore breathing in deeply. "Can I talk to you outside?" he gritted out, but it was more of a demand then a request. That was evident by the way he angrily stomped to the back room and slammed the door shut.

Everyone was left in shock at the switch of the pompous man and even Blake furrowed his brows in confusion at Celina. She faked a smile and excused herself, walking behind her fiancé with a heavy heart. She could just feel Graces anger radiating, but she paid her no mind.

"Sebastian-" her smooth voice rang out in the back door, but he was quick to cut her off disrespectfully.

"Don't. Don't you try to explain your childish behaviour. You are my fiancé and everything you do is reflected upon us! I proposed to the Celina Moretti, the daughter of Lorenzo Moretti. The princess of the East. THAT is not her" he hissed to her, as he pointed her up and down. A vein was popping out of his forehead and he seemed like a thick bomb.

Celinas heart fell at that, but she didn't expect anything better from Sebastian. He had always just thought about himself. "But this is me Sebastian. I am more than just a name and status-" she started off with a low voice but was stopped when he gripped her neck harshly and clutched slightly.

"Shut up. Just shut up!" he whispered to her harshly, his eyes going black and scary. Celina struggled in his grip and felt her neck bruise hurt and ache even more. She whimpered, her eyes brimming with tears. She felt so helpless and trapped. She was never the one to shut up about abuse, but she had no other choice with Sebastian. She could not tell anyone, or her family would be in great danger. She would give her everything for the man who raised her like his own daughter.

"I will send you the dress for the event, so you better turn up and put that beautiful smile of yours on. And put on some makeup. I want every man there to be envious of me. Right babe?" he asked and smiled sweetly.

Just when the door creaked open, he kissed Celina. Blake who was worried saw them kiss and quietly excused himself. He did not see the distress and struggle in Celinas movements. They pulled apart after the rough kiss and she was sure that her lips were dead. No amount of kip scrub would bring them to life.

"See you there" he whispered creepily before walking out and rolling his eyes at Grace who was fuming outside.

"What a dick" Grace whispered to which the old lady nodded and even though she didn't catch it, even Blake gave a nod of his head.
