Pieces of a clock that lies broken

Luke's POV: 

i wake up to the most precious girl in the world in my arms, once again. 

"Jules" i whisper in her ear. she rolls around to face me and smiles. 

"good morning Luke" she smiles, its like she can't stop and i can't either. i tuck some of her hair behind her ear. 

"so last night" i say

"last night was perfect, it was better than i ever imagined it could be" she says staring at the ceiling then back at me. "im just sorry we never got to your movie" 

"im not, that was so much better" i say smirking 

"LUKE PATTERSON" she says playfully slapping my arms. i pull away in 'pain' and hold my arm dramatically. 

"it was perfect though, everything Luke" she says getting closer to me. i pull her in for a small kiss. 

"do you like the ring?" 

"Its amazing, how did you pull off all this?"

"the help of Flynn, Carrie, Alex, and Reggie" 

"Luke, the promise ring. Its a big step, do you really want that?" she ask, a worried look on her face.

"Jules, i wanna spend forever with you, no amount will ever be enough but as long as i'm with you. that's all that matters."

"I'm so lucky, that you poofed into my garage"

"does that mean, im lucky i died?" 

"no your lucky, you came back" 

"i am that" i say. She gets up and walks towards her closet. 

"where are you going?" 

"Luke, we can't stay in bed all day" 

"that was my plan"

"seriously Luke, c'mon" she says crawling back onto the bed and grabbing my arm. 

"fine fine fine, ill get dressed" she smiles in triumph. "ugh i have nothing to wear" she pouts staring at her very full closet.

"Julie, i dont know if we're looking at the same closet but you have plenty to wear" i say coming up behind her fully dressed. 

"how did you pick an outift so fast?" 

"all i did was put on a t-shirt and jeans" 

"ugh" she yells dramatically throwing herself onto the bed. i walk over to her drawers and pull out one of my shirts. then i nrun back to her closet and grab a black skirt. 

"Jules here" i say handing her the outfit. She smiles and grabs it. i watch her slip the shirt on and then the skirt. She tucks it in but pulls it back out.

"Jules, why did you pull the shirt out? it looked good like that"

"maybe on some other girl, not me" 

"No no no no, stop it right now. You are breathtakingly beautiful" i say coming up behind her and wrapping my arms around her waist. i tuck the shirt back in and kiss her cheek.

"i don't feel like it Luke"

"why?" 

"all those other girls are so pretty and i can't stop thinking about how they look at you. What if you rather be with one of them" 

"Julie Molina, you are the only girl i have eyes for and that won't ever change" i say wrapping my fingers with hers. "i don't care about them. i care about you. your so so special to me, not to mention you are pretty. I know that, Alex knows that, Reggie knows that, Anyone who looks at you knows that and you do too" 

"wow"

"now come on, let's go see what they guys are up too"  I say grabbing her hand and running downstairs 

In the garage

Julie's POV: 

we walk into the garage and see the guys all asleep. Reggie and Flynn, laying on the couch together. 

"aww luke look" i whisper pointing to them. My head begins to spin and things start going black

"Luke" is all I say before everything goes black. 

Luke's POV: 

"luke" julie says and collapses in my arms. 

"Julie, Julie, Julie" i say laying her on the ground. "GUYS GUYS" i yell waking them up. 

"oh my god, Julie" flynn screams running over to us. "what happened?" 

"i-I don't know, we were standing here and then she just collapsed. Flynn lays an ear to her chest and looks up, fear filling her eyes. 

"Luke she's barely breathing" 

"Perfect" we hear a voice say and purple smoke appears. 

"Caleb what did you do?" reggie yells. 

"oh just this" He points to Julie and a purple spark jolts through her. 

"Julie" i croak out, i pull her close and i don't hear a heartbeat. "Jules" 

"oh it's no use, she's gone"

"what" i say tears spilling out of me. 

"well i determine why you and the guys came back to life was Julie. Somehow y'all were linked together through music. So it's simple, i took away the power that made y'all stay"

"you killed julie just so you could have us as your band?" Alex yells

"yes, now you will have no choice, join me or die for good" he says and disappears. 

i hold Julie lifeless body as Flynn falls to the ground. Reggie rushes over and holds Flynn. Alex starts to cry and then we all get hit with a jolt. 

a/n: im so so sorry. But just stick it out, that's all i can say.
