Word of advice

Chapter 34.
Sanket's POV

After Aashna left for home, I was also about to leave when Manav stopped me.
"What is up with you both?" He asked me.

"What with who?" I asked him, even when i knew what was he asking.

"Pata toh hai, Aashna. Aashna aur tere beech kya chal raha hai haan?"

"Kuch bhi nahi." I said nodding my head, looking downwards and smirking a little.

"Bhai se chhupayega. Bolde chal." He said convincingly.

"Manav bhai yaar...
(After a few moments of pause, walking forward he continued)
I can't stay away from her. We have also kissed a couple of times, but i dont know manav bhai what is this feeling. Its not lust. Maybe its not love.. i think i just like her, i want to feel her presence atleast wherever i go.
(Turning behind, facing manav)
Manav bhai, i like her, i do not know if its love but since i like her i don't even want to be in a relationship with her. Because you know..."

"You lose everyone you care about or love.. ya ya i know. But listen would you like to know my opinion about this?"

"Ha ha isiliye toh aapko bataya" i said.

" Ha toh sun. I dont think you love her, you just like her. I am no one to judge your feelings about her but one thing i can say is give it time. You will know if she is yours or not. Also, saath time bitayenge, toh ho jaata hai liking, pyaar, wo pyaar sachha pyaar nahi hota. But well thats according to me."
He said

I kind of agreed to his words. Two people who spend most of their time together are most likely to fall in love , atleast one person amongst the two but it fades away with time. I think he is correct. I should just give it time and see where it goes, my whatever kind of a relationship with Aashna.

"You're right. I have thought about it, i  will give it time." I said.

"Chal ab ghar jaake so jaana, kal competition hai." Manav said, knowing that i will surf through my phone the whole night.

"Ya ya okay, aap bhi so jaana" We bid each other good bye and i reached home in 10 minutes.

Next morning, i was anxious, nervous, little confident and also excited. I didn't know how my dance would go, but i do know that right now i am so very nervous which made me wakeup  at 6:00am in the morning. Luckily my college opens at 5:00am for cleaning and stuff so i reached there by 6:30am.

As soon as i reached college, i started rehearsing. In a hurry, i had forgotten to have tea in the morning which made my headache grow. I rushed to the canteen area, which hadn't opened yet after doing rehearsal, two times. I sat down at the staircase resting a bit and looking everywhere, no one had come yet and it was kind of cold and the sweeper was sweeping the floor. The canteen would open at 7:00 am and i wanted to wait there at the staircase till that time but also had to rehearse.

I made up my mind to rehearse for the next half an hour, as soon as i got up, i saw Aashna standing there with a thermos. How i wished the thermos had tea.

"Hey" i said with a smile.
"Hi, what are you doing here, and at this time" she said with questioning eyes.

"Yeah, to rehearse, i was way too nervous. So couldn't sleep." I said shrugging my shoulders with a half smile.

"Oh okay, have you had tea?" She asked me making me surprised.

"No, how how did you know?" I asked her thinking that this must be some soulmate connection maybe? Lmao what the fuck are you thinking, sanket. (To himself)

"Oh i didn't know. I just asked you since i have tea in my thermos. Maybe you want some?" She asked me politely.

"Thankyou so much. But why is this going so formal?" He said and chuckled.

"I don't know." I said and chuckled. "Anyways have this" i said, pouring some tea in a paper cup which i had brought.

"Thankyou Honey." Sanket said gratefully.

"So why are you here in the morning, at 6.30am and why have you brought tea?" He asked me like he is some job interviewer.

"Oh i'm here to rehearse for today's competition. I'm very excited so came early. Also, i always get a thermos with me whenever i come early to college, it helps me stay awake, you know." I said stating facts.

"Oh ya ya, true true" he said shaking his head. We both went to the rehearsing area after drinking tea.

Sanket started his rehearsal but I sat down because i had come earlier than  him and rehearsed enough. I am gonna take a long half an hour break now. And i sat down on the chair in the rehearsing room surfing on my phone.

I kept my phone aside in 5 minutes since there was nothing to surf about in my phone. I kept watching Sanket while he did his rehearsal. I noticed that he was was about to fall. I ran and took him in my arms.

"Woah what the fuck happened?" I asked him.

He was still unconscious.
