Upon introducing themselves to Emma and the others, Granny offered Timon and Pumbaa a complimentary meal, as they mentioned having gone without food for several days.

Pumbaa spoke with his mouth full, catching Emma's attention. "Finally... By the way, this is better than grubs," he said, prompting Emma to ask, "Grubs?" Timon then chimed in, "Hey Pumbaa, don't speak with your mouth full. Back where we came from, we used to eat grubs."

Ewe" Ruby displayed revulsion. "Ruby, grow up; consuming insects is customary in some countries," Granny said to her granddaughter.

Henry stepped in and asked, "Are you two actually Timon and Pumbaa?" Timon responded, "That's what we're called, buddy," as he continued eating. Henry rephrased his question, "Are you two characters from The Lion King?" Pumbaa replied, "You must have heard about Simba. We serve him, the king of the Pride Lands."

As soon as the name Simba was mentioned, the room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on the speaker. "That name sounds very familiar," Emma said, her curiosity piqued

The diner door swung open, and a vision of elegance walked in, turning heads and commanding attention. It was Regina, and her beauty radiant as she scanned the room. "I am not interrupting anything, am I?" she asked, her voice husky and confident.

Emma shook her head, "No, not at all." Regina's gaze wandered, locking onto two unlikely figures - Timon and Pumbaa - who seemed utterly smitten by her loveliness. Their faces flushed a deep shade of pink as they stumbled over their words.

"Who are they?" Regina asked, her curiosity piqued.

Timon, still starstruck, stuttered, "O-oh, hello... I-I'm Timon, and this is Pumbaa... w-we come from..." But before he could finish, Henry intervened, his voice filled with excitement.

"They come from the Pride Lands, and they serve Simba!" The mention of Simba's name sparked a flicker of recognition in Regina's eyes.

"I feel like I've heard that name before," she said, her brow furrowed in concentration, as if trying to recall a distant memory.

"Emma, can I steal you for a minute?" Regina asked, her voice low and mysterious, as she nodded discreetly towards the door. Emma followed her outside, where the cool evening air enveloped them, providing a cloak of privacy for their conversation.

"Emma, I need to ask you something," Regina began, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "These two... Timon and Pumbaa... they're talking about someone I've heard of before. His name was Simba." Regina's voice was laced with intrigue, as if she was piecing together a puzzle.

Emma's expression turned skeptical. "You mean, like, from The Lion King?" She chuckled, dismissing the idea. "Regina, these guys were probably just named after the characters from the movie. I'm sure it's just a coincidence." Emma's tone was lighthearted, but Regina's gaze lingered, as if she wasn't entirely convinced.

As the afternoon sun cast its golden glow over Storybrooke, Emma and the others convened at the City Council chambers, their faces set with determination. Seated in the hot seats were Timon and Pumbaa, their usual carefree demeanor replaced by nervous glances. Emma's eyes narrowed, her voice firm but controlled.

"Okay, so let's get this straight," she began, her words dripping with skepticism. "Your names are Timon and Pumbaa, but you're not... the actual Timon and Pumbaa, right?" Emma's tone implied that she already knew the answer, but was waiting for them to confirm the obvious. The room fell silent, awaiting their response, as Timon and Pumbaa exchanged uneasy glances.
