(Y/n) POV
For as long as I can remember, I've heard people tell me that I'm really quiet and reserved for my age, which isn't really a lie, I just like to keep to myself, and speak when spoken to, but that doesn't mean I won't kick anyone's ass if they ever disrespected me or anyone I cared about.

My dad always told me to stand up for what I believed in and to not take anyone's crap because I'm a (l/n) and we aren't pushovers. That's kind of our family motto.

My dad's in the Army and he's rarely home leaving my mom to take care of me and my two older brothers.

The oldest, Aito Suzuki, (now Aito (L/n) because my dad legally adopted him,) is my half brother, we have the same mom but different dads. From what my mother told us, his father passed away from kidney failure when Aito was is still in her stomach, she ended up moving from Japan to America because she had no reason to stay there now that his father is gone.

She told us that he never treated her right and when she got pregnant with Aito, he just got worse, he use to verbally and sometimes physical abuse her, and when he came back home late at night drunk, he was way worse.

She pointed out that he would never hit her in the stomach worried he might harm his unborn baby.

And one night he never came home, getting a phone call from the hospital in the early morning with the news that he's passed away.

My mother didn't know what emotion she was feeling, but it was a mixture of relief and sadness, nonetheless she never hesitated to pack her bags and get the hell out of there.

She thought moving to a new county would give her and Aito a new start. A few months later giving birth to my half brother ,Aito Suzuki, (now Aito (L/n) ) she explained that his name means darling child. Just seeing his face and hearing his giggles would get her through the tough days of working as a waitress.

The second oldest ,Quinn (L/n), is my full brother, we have the same mom and dad. When mom was working as waitress, she remembered seeing a tall, handsome, dark skin, man walk in wearing an army uniform, sit at one of the stools near the counter. She went up to him to take his order, and they ended up chatting instead, he asked for her number and the rest is history.

Aito was four when Quinn was born, and mom says that Aito was so excited to finally have someone to play with. Fast forward two years later, I'm born.

Hi I'm (y/n)...and my life is kinda crazy.
