'Do I like Izuku?.... Nah, maybe I'm just being protective or something.'

Kaminari-kun and the purple grape thing came up to our table and told us that all the girls from different classes were wearing cheerleading outfits to cheer on their classes, and that it would be nice if we could do the same for them. "I don't know that seems kind of embarrassing." Momo said, "I think it would be cool!" Hagajure-chan spoke up. "It seems fun so I'm down," I say, and the next thing you know, I'm being dragged to the changing rooms to put on a UA cheer outfit.

At this time, students that have been eliminated were allowed to part take in recreational side games. Me and the girls walk back out into the stadium ready to cheer for our class, but we quickly realize that we were the only ones wearing cheer uniforms, I don't even think we were supposed to be cheering in the first place. Basically, we were tricked by the boys, "Unbelievable" I say pinching the bridge of my nose. "Well, at least we look hot." Mina said posing "You ain't never lie," I say laughing.

I look around for Izuku to let him know about this tomfoolery, when I see him and Uraraka- chan talking. To be honest, it seems like the roles have reversed now. Uraraka-chan was the one being a flustered mess, and Izuku was just giggling. I debated just walking away and leaving them alone, but for some reason, my petty bone was tingling. I jog up to them to make my presence known.

When Izuku looked in my direction, he did a double-take, and his whole face went red. "Hey guys! look how cute these uniforms are!" I say slowing down in front of them. "A-Ah yeah! Y-You look really cute in it." "Aw, thanks Izu. Come on I think we have to draw lots for the tournament." I grab his arm and walk to where we had to draw lots.

Izuku's POV

I think I'm going to faint! Seeing (Y/n) in that cheer outfit is too much. She looks so cute in it. She takes my arm and drags me to where Midnight is, and along the way, my arm keeps brushing past her exposed waist, and it's driving me insane, I don't know if I can make it.

After we drew lots, the match-ups were displayed.

(Y/n)'s POV

Izuku's going first and he's up against this guy named Hitoshi Shinso, whoever that guy is. I'm up against Momo, not to be cocky or anything, but I know I'm going to win. I leave Izuku to change back into my gym uniform. When I came back, the fighting arena was finished being built by Cementoss, I make my way up to the stands and sit in between Mina and Jirou, ready to see how this fight will unfold.

Izuku and the floofy purple-haired guy, that declared war on our class, walk out. 'Ooh, so he's Hitoshi Shinsou.' The signal to begin goes off and it seems like Hitoshi was talking to Izuku, and whatever he said set him off. Izuku charges at him but then stops in his tracks "What is he doing?" I say out loud confused. He begins walking toward the end of the arena. 'If he leaves it, he'll be disqualified!', "Izukuuuu! Snap out of it!" I scream at him, but he's unfazed.

Ojiro-kun was sitting behind me when he said that it was Hitoshi's quirk, brainwashing, and that it's likely that Izuku is begin controlled right now. I look back towards Izuku and he was nearing the edge of the arena now, only a few steps away from being disqualified. I would hate to see Izuku get eliminated so early in the tournament. He worked so hard to be here today, and all of that is being wasted on a guy who just spoke a few words to get him out.

I feel a buzzing sensation from the pit of my stomach, kind of similar to the feeling I had when I was about to get my quirk. I grip the cemented wall, made to keep us safe from falling, and scream out, "YOU CAN DO IT IZUKU!" when I did the buzzing sensation was brought up from my stomach and out through my mouth. It almost felt like I was throwing up. Suddenly there was a loud boom and It came from Izuku, it looked like he broke one of his fingers and it snapped him out of his trance.
