^^^ Don't play yet
After being discharged from the hospital, and getting the okay from the doctor, I began my training for the entrance exams. My classes were being held virtually, but I opted for being homeschooled by my mom, but with her working, I just end up doing the work myself with her checking it at the end of the day.
This gave me more time to train and work things out with my quirk. First I wanted to try listening to different music genres, to see which one triggered my quirk the fastest, and so far Pop, K-Pop, J-pop, Rap, Punk Rock, some alternative songs, and EDM, were the winners. And the genres that calmed me down the fastest were R&B and lo-fi's. With this in mind, I asked my mom to buy me a pair of wireless headphones, so I don't have to worry about being caught in the wires.
I started to work on my stamina and some weightlifting, so I can do more with my super strength later. After I acquired the wireless headphones, I began quirk training at different junkyards in Japan, usually running or flying there.
Play now
To get things started, I play Ice Cream by Jerhell, activating my quirk, I feel my cheeks raise and I feel weightless. The first part of my training was to take two laps around the whole junkyard and then get to my regular workouts. Afterward, I stacked beat-up cars on top of each other and set each of them back on the ground 4 times. After doing so I would return home tired and drenched in sweat.
I continued like this for five months. I noticed I was more toned than I was when I started, which means it wasn't all for nothing. Before I knew it, it was the day of the entrance exams. I'm so nervous I can't stop overthinking what would happen if I don't make it.
'Aito graduated from UA and he was in the general studies class, he didn't want to be a hero but he did want to be a doctor, I just know he got in because of his brains. Quinn is also currently attending UA, he's a second-year now and he's in the hero course. If those two were able to make it, then maybe I can too. Positives vibes only from here on out out' I tell myself.
I get in my moms' car and we head to UA High. Before I get out, my mom pulls me into a hug, "You're going to do great (Y/n) you have nothing to worry about. I believe in you." The last part gave me some hope and I begin to believe in myself as well. "Thanks, mom, I needed that." I got out of the car and checked if I had my phone and my headphones with me as I walk towards the school, "Wow... was it always this huge?"
I almost reach the front door of the school, before I hear a bit of commotion come from behind. "Get out of my way before I light you on fire, Deku!" "O-Oh hey there Kacchan! L-Let's both do our best out there! Ahaha!" I turn my head to see a spikey-blonde-haired boy, 'Kacchan?' I ask myself as I look past him to see a familiar broccoli-headed boy, "*gasp* Izuku?"
I fully turned my body to walk towards him and then I started sprinting, bumping Kacchan to the side to try to get to Izuku. 'It has to be him, no one else has the same mean nickname.' I say to myself. I feel my quirk activate, cheeks raising and I feel weightless.
I see him trip over his feet and he's heading towards the ground, but before he could, I make him levitate. I see I, brown hair girl, about to touch him but before she could, I grab and tackle him to the floor in a bone-crushing hug.
"IZUKUUUU! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!" I scream out sitting up now to see his full face. I'm smiling so hard right now my cheeks feel sore and it doesn't show any signs of fading away. "(Y-Y/n)? Is that you?" He said blushing, probably because of the way we are positioned, "Yes dummy, it's me!" I say grabbing him off the floor to give him a proper hug and he hugs back a little apprehensively at first, not believing it was me, but once he realized he only knew one person that gave bone-crushing hugs, he squeezed a little tighter.
