Chiyoko's POV

I looked down at the car's digital clock and it read '6:00 pm' and sighed " I didn't think we would spend the whole day there" I said quietly to myself. I pull up to our house's driveway and swiftly hop out to retrieve my daughter from the back seat. 'She looks so adorable when she sleeps' I squeal to myself as I pick her up to bring her in inside.

When I opened the door, I saw my husband on the phone with a worried expression on his face, "It's for you" he said, I quickly move to lay (Y/n) on the couch.

I walked towards my husband to take the phone call " Hello?" I ask " Hello is this the daughter of Suzuki-San," I noticed the person on the phone was speaking Japanese so I switched back over to my native tongue.

"This is she." " Yes this phone call is in regards to your mother, she has been admitted into our hospital after suffering a rough fall down the stairs in her home. She is in stable condition right now, suffering from a fractured wrist and a headache, when she woke up she asked us to call her daughter to let you know."

I let out a sigh of relief, I didn't even know I was holding my breath in, " That's good news" I say " Excuse me if I'm overstepping my boundaries, but I recommend keeping an eye on your mother, she is getting older and may need assistance with day to day activities. Watching over her  may also lessen the chances of accidents happening at home."

"I have been thinking about moving back to care for her for a while now, and with this happening..." I paused in thought, "Thank you for notifying me, please keep me updated on her condition."

I hang up the phone quickly to chew on my nails deep in thought. 'Do I really have to go back there, that man is gone now so I have nothing to fear but... what about the kids, my husband, what if I have to leave them here, who will take care of them when Wyatt goes back to serve, what if-' my thoughts get cut off when my husband hugs me from behind. I melt into his touch and release a sigh of worry.

"What wrong?" He asked softly in my ear "my mother is in the hospital... she fell down the stairs."

I lean back more on him "She's in stable condition but... I might have to keep an eye on her, she's getting older, and no one is around to care for her" I say as I turn around to rest my head on his chest, he rubs small circles on my back to console me "So what's the problem?"

He asked, I pull away to look him in the eyes "I'm gonna have to leave, that's the problem, you're going to go back to the army before you know it, and who's going to care for the kids, Aito isn't old enough to care for his siblings and I don't even want to think about hiring a nanny."

"So take them with you, I'm pretty sure they speak almost perfect Japanese with you taking care of them the majority of the time, so they won't have a problem with the language difference. I even know some myself. They may have a hard time adjusting to a new environment but they'll get used to it. Plus I'll come with you guys. I have six months to myself, and when the time comes, I'll head back. I know your mother doesn't like people like me for some reason, but we'll bear through it, we can even find a home there while we stay at your mothers' place."

He smiles reassuringly at me. He always finds some way to solve my problems, I think that's one of the reasons why I fell in love with him. I smile back at him and give him a bone-crushing hug.

"Ch-Chi Chi too h-hard" he barely breathes out. I release him from my arms of death "Damn I really don't understand how a person so small can make it so hard for me to breathe" he chokes out with his hands resting on his knees. "So you mean... your not use to me always taking your breath away?" I caress under his chin for him to look up at me.

"Chiyoko, your such a flirt, you know that?" He pinched my cheeks and looked to the side afterward pouting.

It's really hard to tell but I can see him blushing. I giggle to myself as I walk back over to my sleeping daughter to wake her up, she needs to clean up.

(Y/n)'s POV

I wake up to the feeling of my mother poking my face repeatedly. I groan as I slowly open my eyes to see my mother's face so close to mine, "GWAAAAHHH!" I scream out flailing my arms, startled, not expecting her to be so close to me.

"Mommy... you can't do that, you scared me." I sit up rubbing my eyes, it feels like I've been hit by a truck. My body is so sore and I feel so sluggish.

"Awww did mommy really scare (N/n), sowwwwy." She says as she rubs our faces together. "Hehehe, okay okay." I'm fully awake now. "Hurry up and take a bath I'll have dinner ready soon, then we can tell daddy all about your new quirk." "OKAY!" I yell excitedly accidentally triggering my quirk, my eyes flash rainbow but quickly fades away.

"Oh and I have some news for you and your brothers, I'll tell you all after dinner." I nod my head in acknowledgment. 'I'm a big girl now so mommy doesn't need to bathe me anymore, I can handle this myself' I thought as I propelled myself to my room and into the upstairs bathroom.

(Time skip)

As we are eating dinner I excitedly tell my dad and brothers about how eventful today was, "and then I went BOOM, there was a HUUGE dent in the scrap metal", it was hard to stop my quirk from activating at the moment, mommy said not to suppress it because she doesn't want me to pop a blood vessel, which I thought was funny.

I allowed my eyes to change but remained seated despite the feeling of being weightless. "Anyways, what did you want to tell us, mommy, you said you have news?" I asked remembering what she said earlier. "Oh thank you for reminding me, well... we're moving."

'What'

"To Japan"

'WHAAAAT'

"WHAT, WHY?" I asked. 'Why all of a sudden? Daddy just got back, I don't want to leave my closest friend' I thought. "Well your grandmother had an accident, so I decided to look after her so there won't be any more accidents in the future. I already taught you guys Japanese, so you don't have to worry about the language barrier, it'll be fun, I swear. Plus your dad is tagging along for his vacation."

She finished speaking as she took the last bite of her ramen. 'It doesn't seem so bad but... I don't wanna leave Mia, she's the only one that's been nice to me, what if I don't make new friends in Japan?' I thought to myself.

"When do we leave?" Quinn asked, "I'm thinking by the end of this week, your grandmother gets discharged this weekend, so I want to get her from the hospital after we settle at her house, where we will be staying at." She replied 'A week?! that's so fast, how will Mia react to the news?'

I look down at my half-eaten dinner in thought. We are excused from the table to get a head start on packing things.

'I wonder how she'll take the news?'
