Chanbaek (Fluff)

Baekhyun and Chanyeol's son falls and hurts himself, Baekhyun blames it on himself and calls him a bad parent, Chanyeol has to talk some sense into him.

Baekhyun was having a hard time.

He was working in 2 groups and was also a solo artist so he was stressed.

He also had a 8 month old baby who was now learning to walk and also was learning how to talk.

Chanyeol was the proud father of their 8 month old son, but being a father and a Kpop artist didn't go hand in hand.

Chanyeol had to write songs for Exo-SC.

But Baekhyun was more stressed then Chanyeol was, his son was a mommy's boy and he usually sat in Baekhyun's lap when he wrote songs or was recording demo's for new songs.

Chanyeol tried to help out as much as he could, but when his son didn't want him, he just didn't want him.

Baekhyun was currently trying to write a new song when he heard his son crying.

Baekhyun jumped out of his seat and ran to his son, he had fell and hit his head on the hardwood in the kitchen and it had hurt him.

Baekhyun picked him up instantly and inspected his head and made sure he was okay.

"I'm so sorry, mommy's so sorry" Baekhyun said bouncing the baby up and down trying to get him to stop crying.

Chanyeol had dance practice with Sehun so he was not going to be home until later.

When Baekhyun's son wouldn't stop crying, he poured him a bottle of milk and tried to give it to him but he wouldn't take it, so Baekhyun didn't know what to do other then call Chanyeol.

Baekhyun kept swaying back and forth, holding onto his baby tightly as he called Chanyeol.

Chanyeol answered and Baekhyun was relieved.

"Hey baby what's up?" Chanyeol asked, getting worried when he heard their baby crying.

"Hey, I'm sorry for calling I know your busy but he hit his head and he won't stop crying, I think he needs his daddy" Baekhyun said, just trying to calm their son down.

"It's okay baby, I'm on my way" Chanyeol said hanging up, their practice room was only 5 minutes away from their house but, Baekhyun didn't know if he could listen to his son cry for any longer.

"It's okay, it's okay mommy's got you" Baekhyun whispered, kissing his baby's forehead, rocking him back and forth trying to get him to settle down.

It was only a few minutes later, Chanyeol showed up and took the baby from Baekhyun.

"What happened?" Chanyeol asked, he wasn't mad or anything.

"I think he fell, I was watching him I swear I was, but he just fell and hit his head." Baekhyun was freaking out, he was upset with himself and it wasn't helping that he was stressed.

"It's okay baby, accidents happen, there's a knot on his head which is good so he's fine." Chanyeol said sitting on the bed with their son, the baby calming down.

Baekhyun couldn't help but feel like it was his fault, he loved his son with everything he had, but he still felt like he caused it.

"It's all my fault" Baekhyun said sitting beside Chanyeol, his hands covering his face.

"It's not your fault baby. Accidents happen. It's part of the learning process." Chanyeol said trying to cheer him up.

"No. I should have been watching him closer. I should have stopped writing the song and paid attention to my baby. It is my fault." Baekhyun said, a few years going down his cheek, Chanyeol grabbed his phone asking Sehun to come take the baby for a few minutes while he comforted Baekhyun.

"No it's not your fault. I shouldn't have left you alone with him I should have been here to help but I wasn't. So it's my just as much as it is yours." Chanyeol said, hearing a knock at the door.

"I'll be right back." Chanyeol said, taking his son to uncle Sehun.

"What's going on?" Sehun asked, knowing something was up or he wouldn't text like that.

"Baekhyun is blaming himself for him hitting his head and I don't need him hearing his mommy blame himself." Sehun nodding understanding, taking the baby from Chanyeol.

"Let's go play our favorite game." Sehun said talking to the baby, walking to his car.

Chanyeol closed and locked the door, going back to Baekhyun.

"It's not your fault. I promise you Baek. Mistakes happen. It was a accident. Don't blame yourself for that." Chanyeol said softly, Baekhyun just shaking his head.

Baekhyun had started crying and started to have a anxiety attack, having a hard time breathing.

"Calm down baby" Chanyeol said, bringing Baekhyun into his chest, letting him cry it out for a minute.

Baekhyun was so upset with himself, he didn't think he was a good parent and that hurt Chanyeol.

Baekhyun was the best mom, he was so patient, so kind and gentle and rarely got frustrated with their son.

Chanyeol was the same way, he was patient, kind and really good with their son, but he was a mommy's boy so what could he do.

"I-I'm not a good mother" Baekhyun said, breaking Chanyeol's heart hearing him say that about himself.

"That's not true at all. You are the best mother you can be. You are really patient, kind, loving, caring and sweet to our son. Babies hurt themselves all the time. Yes it's hard to listen to them cry. But it happens. It doesn't make you a bad parent. It makes us human. And humans make mistakes. So Baekhyun, your not a bad mother. Your a hell of a good one." Baekhyun listened to Chanyeol's words and nodded.

"Hell I hurt myself all the time as a baby. And did I turn out okay?" Baekhyun laughed a bit, deciding to joke around.

"Well your kinda dumb but yeah." Baekhyun said jokingly making Chanyeol smile.

"Can we cuddle since Sehun has the baby for now?" Baekhyun asked making Chanyeol smile happily.

"Of course we can."
