Seongjoong (Fluff)

Hongjoong is upset and having a hard time and Seonghwa is there to cheer him up.

Hongjoong has been having a hard time the past month, he had so much stress out on his shoulders and was just expected to deal with it.

Ateez has been trying to help him out as much as they could but Hongjoong would politely decline and say it was his problems and he didn't want anyone else to deal with his stuff.

Lately, one of the managers have been pushing Hongjoong to his limit and Seonghwa could tell it was messing with Hongjoong and told them to just give him some space.

Hongjoong was thankful that Seonghwa was always there for him and had his back, but he couldn't bring himself to tell him that he had been struggling a lot with his mental help, he just couldn't pressure Seonghwa to fix him.

Currently, Hongjoong was laying in bed acting like he wasn't feeling good but he honestly just needed some alone time to actually cry, every time he tried someone would walk in or knock and interrupt him.

He was starting to get upset and just couldn't fight the urge and just let go.

He finally just let all the negativity take over and he couldn't do anything but sob into his pillow.

But little did he know Seonghwa forgot his phone so he had to come back, he heard Hongjoong's soft sobs and couldn't stand to listen any longer.

"Baby? Hey, what's wrong?" Seonghwa asked softly making Hongjoong jump and wipe his tears.

"N-Nothing I'm fine!" Hongjoong said acting like he wasn't just bawling his eyes out.

"Baby I heard you crying, you can talk to me what's wrong?" Seonghwa said softly, getting in the bed beside Hongjoong.

Hongjoong sniffled and tried to keep himself from crying but Seonghwa knew he was holding back.

"Hongjoong are you okay?" Seonghwa asked genuinely, he was worried for Hongjoong he didn't usually cry like this so he knew something was up.

Hongjoong could never keep it together when someone said the three simple words "are you okay?" He couldn't keep it together.

Hongjoong just finally let go of everything and cried making Seonghwa hate to see him upset like this and pull him into his arms letting Hongjoong cry it out.

"Hey hey shh I've got you baby" Seonghwa said and held him tighter, he was obviously upset and he was going to kill whoever upset him.

Hongjoong couldn't say anything or even breathe for that matter, he was so upset and sad that he couldn't even stop crying to catch his breath.

"Baby look at me, I know your upset but you have to breathe, I don't need you making yourself sick okay? Just breathe love." Seonghwa said rubbing Hongjoong's back and tried to help him calm down.

Hongjoong took in a deep breath, trying to breathe but still having a hard time.

"Do you need some water baby?" Seonghwa asked reaching for his bottle of water he had with him.

Hongjoong nodded and took a small sip, swallowing it starting to catch his breath.

"Good, just keep breathing okay?" Seonghwa said and rubbed his back in small circles.

Hongjoong kept breathing and finally wiped away his tears, looking up at Seonghwa.

"Do you want to tell me what's bothering you? You don't have too but it might make you feel better" Seonghwa said rubbing Hongjoong's arm in support.

"I-I'm just stressed, Nothings been bothering me I'm just stressed." Hongjoong lied but Seonghwa knew it was a lie.

"Baby you don't have to lie to me, I know something has been bothering you because I know you, your always tense and hardly ever smile anymore so what's really going on?" Seonghwa asked and got a sigh from Hongjoong, he couldn't believe he was about to open up.

"I've been struggling a lot with my mental health, I haven't felt like myself in weeks and i didn't want to bother you so I didn't tell you" Hongjoong said and got a soft smile from Seonghwa.

"Baby you won't bother me ever, I want to be there for you and help you whenever you need help or reassurance. I'm here for you baby." Seonghwa said making Hongjoong look down feeling bad.

"Look at me baby" Seonghwa said lifting Hongjoong's chin.

Hongjoong made eye contact with him and tried not to cry as he couldn't look people in the eye when he was upset.

"I love you, you know I do and if you are struggling or even feel upset or just don't feel good you can come to me baby." Seonghwa said, watching as Hongjoong's lip quivered.

"It's okay baby don't cry" Seonghwa said and pulled Hongjoong into his arms again hearing the soft sobs leave his mouth.

"Shh I've got you love" Seonghwa said, he hated hearing Hongjoong cry and you could tell.

"I love you baby, I love you so much you don't understand how much I love you. It hurts me that your so upset but listen I'm here for you okay? You've got me baby." Seonghwa said earning a soft nod from Hongjoong.

Hongjoong sat up and smiled a bit, still crying but starting to feel better.

Seonghwa smiled softly and wiped away his tears, he felt so much better now that Hongjoong was starting to feel better.

"C-Can we cuddle? Y-You don't have to if you don't want to though" Hongjoong said softly and made Seonghwa kiss his forehead.

"Of course I'll cuddle with you baby" Seonghwa said grabbing a blanket and moving the pillows exactly how Hongjoong liked them, Hongjoong smiling as he finally started feeling better since he was with Seonghwa, Seonghwa always made him feel better.

Once Seonghwa laid down, Hongjoong laid down next to him, moving closer to him until his face stayed in Seonghwa's neck.

Seonghwa smiled a bit just played with Hongjoong's soft hair, enjoying cuddling with his baby.

Wooyoung had come to find Seonghwa but once he saw he was cuddling with Hongjoong he just mouthed "Oh" and walked out giving the two some privacy.

"Are you feeling better baby?" Seonghwa asked but once he heard no answer from Hongjoong he listened carefully and heard his soft little snores.

Seonghwa smiled and just laid there staring at the ceiling until he fell asleep himself, he realized how lucky he was to have Hongjoong in his life.
