Nomin (Angst)

Jaemin ends up in the hospital after he fell and hurt his arm, he was in excruciating pain and it physically broke Jeno's heart.

Disclaimer: I know Jaemin isn't dumb enough to do stuff like this but it's just for the chapter ⚠️

Jaemin was practicing for dance, he had to do black on black and a couple other dances and he had to practice doing strength training and stunts if he wanted to make himself better for this upcoming performance.

Jeno was also practicing like Jaemin but he wasn't working as hard or as long.

Jaemin was a overachiever, it wasn't new news.

Jeno knew how hard he was working for this and was worried, he didn't want him to hurt himself.

Jaemin was stubborn and wouldn't listen to Jeno when he said slow down, he didn't believe in slowing down.

They were with the rest of NCT practicing Black on Black when Jaemin decided to work on stunts.

Taeyong tried to tell him it wasn't safe and so did Taeil and Jeno.

But he swore he would be fine.

Jeno was worried because Jaemin was doing a double backhand spring and a back tuck at the end.

He knew he was good but he was worried he wouldn't nail it and break something.

Even the rest of Nct were trying to talk him out.

Ten tried to reason with him.

Johnny told him it wasn't a good idea.

Jisung was worried.

Jeno told him he would hurt himself and it would break his heart if he actually did.

Everyone tried but like everyone has said multiple times, Jaemin is hard headed and did it anyway.

"There's no way he's going to land that" Taeyong whispered to Jeno who just nodded and agreed.

"I know, he's been practicing this for weeks and he just wants it to be perfect even though it's in none of our performances. I don't understand why he would feel the need to do this but he won't listen." Jeno said sighing at the end as Jaemin stretched.

"There's nothing you could have done or said. Jaemin is a determined soul and he's always to try new things. I love him he's my kid but damn. Why can't you just listen to someone who knows what their talking about?" Taeyong said face palming at the end making Jeno laugh a bit.

"Let's just hope he won't get hurt" Jeno said sighing at the end, being worried and all.

Taeyong saw he was worried and sympathetically smiled.

"I'm sure he'll be fine." Taeyong said knowing how Jeno could be.

"I hope" Jeno said watching as Jaemin started to practice the handsprings, all he had to was put too much weight on his wrist or arms and snap, they're broke.

Jaemin nailed the Backhand springs but when he went to do the tuck something went wrong and he landed on his arm, making him let out a pained scream.

Jeno ran to him as fast as he could, seeing his arm swelling instant.

His worst nightmare came true.

"Shit, Okay I need ice and something to keep his arm from moving a lot.

Taeyong and Taeil were already on his as their mom instincts kicked in.

The rest of the members made sure he was okay and saw how swelled his arm was and saw how he had tears going down his cheeks, it had to hurt.
