"I'm so happy for you anak!"
Nginitian ko na lang siya at dumiretso kaagad sa kwarto ko just because I was tired for the day. It was already 2pm when I arrived at our house.
But even though I didn't ask, I always know that there are three options as to why she was early today. One, she left something here. Two, she got bored at her office. And three, she's so tired of paperwork so maybe she's finding something else to do. Seeing her so happy just because I chose to stay in the music club again means that the third one may be the right answer.
I was about to close my eyes while laying down on my bed when a thought suddenly crossed my mind. I immediately sat straight and dialed Kashka, putting on the speaker mode. 2 rings on the other line was heard before she answered the call.
"Bakit? Ayaw mo na ba sa'kin?" Kashka laughed, making me raise my eyebrows more.
I'm not overreacting. I just wanna have a good impression when I meet his family; since it will be my first formal time to meet them.
"Arte mo..sige basta kain muna tayo sa labas." I smiled. "Pero libre mo, rich girl." My smile immediately faded and before I could even talk back, she quickly ended the call.
I rolled over my bed, stuffing my face on my favorite pillow while trying to close my eyes. Seeing as to how she didn't text me back, hindi ko na kailangan pang magdrive papunta sa kanila.
That time, I had a sweet and weird dream. It was about a happy little girl that seemed to have everything she wanted. Friends, family, good social life, her passion about her dreams, everything about her seemed to be perfect. But the problem was that it all only seemed to be because not everyone knew her story. No one ever listened. No one ever understood.
The happy little girl that seemed to be perfect, suddenly was trapped inside a cage. A cage with no exit.
In the end she just realized... that everything was just in her mind. A forgotten memory of her past.
"Alyssa si Kashka 'to."
I was having another headache.
