Chapter 5

"It's my turn to ask questions." Sky teased. "Ilang taon ka na?"

Tinignan niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa, na para bang pinaparating niya sa akin na mukha akong bata. "Kaka 17 ko palang nung April."

"Ahh, so you're late for 1 year?"

"Yes." I answered. I was guessing that he's going to ask why kaya inunahan ko na siyang magsalita. "Ikaw?" I tried to change the subject.

Tinignan niya muna ako bago siya sumandal sa kanyang upuan. "Well I'm Sky, alam mo naman na 'yon. My full name is Sean Kenneth Y. Reano, I'm turning 18 this September. May kapatid akong babae na mas matanda sa akin, Grade 12 na ako, and I like music." He smiled at his last sentence. I kinda knew that when he sang earlier during the program. He seemed like he was in his own world.

"You really like music." I unconsciously said. It was too late to realize what I just said and he just chuckled at my reaction.

"Sino bang hindi?"

Nanatili lang kaming ganoon lang ng mga ilang minuto. Marami akong nalaman tungkol sa kanya at pati sa band nila. Sabi niya na rin sa akin na 'wag ko na raw silang tawaging kuya. They were all once in the music club and then they became closer when they were grouped to compete in a competition against another school.

I knew that story, nakwento sa akin ni Kashka. Nung lumipat ako dito, nagperform sila as a welcome gift for the new students at that time. Doon ko sila unang nakita at narinig na magperform. Kashka was already a student here so she oriented me about who they were.

"Andiyan na sila." I turned to face the door when it suddenly opened. Reece and the others were holding white plastic bags with them.

"Sorry Alyssa, may inasikaso lang kami." She placed the bags on the table and let the other boys do so. Once they were all seated beside Sky, Reece, who sat beside me, suddenly stood up and gestured me to come with her.

Pumasok kami sa isang room na mukhang para iyon sa mga pagkain nila at hugasan na rin. Reece turned to me but checked the boys again because they were all suddenly laughing so loudly.

"I'll let you be Sky's personal assistant." She told me.

"Okay, no problem. Ano ba dapat kong gawin?" Kinapa ko ang phone ko mula sa bulsa ko at hinanap ko pa ang notes para doon ko muna ilalagay ang mga sasabihin sa akin ni Reece.

As I was about to open the app, Reece suddenly covered my phone screen with her hand so I looked up to her, raising my brows. "Oh yes, there is a problem." Maingat niyang binaba ang kamay ko kasama na rin ang phone ko. "Pero sa tingin ko naman kaya mo."

"Ano ba 'yan?"

"Nagtataka ka ba kung bakit si Sky na lang ang walang assistant?" She asked me. Come to think of it, I just learned that Sky was the only one who still does not have an assistant. May mga naririnig akong mga chismis pero hindi ko inakalang totoo ngang wala siyang assistant hanggang ngayon.
