A Month Later......
DecemberFor the last month and a half, me and Billie have gotten really close. We were skipping lunch together at first and eating in the bathroom, but then we moved to the library and then eventually to the cafeteria. We found a table secluded away from all the others and made that our personal lunch table. Billie even carved our initials into it to "claim our territory " she says. We had gotten a few looks from people but we didn't care. People never thought they'd see us hang out together, let alone become really close friends. Even Jessica and Vinnie shot us a couple slightly confused faces. But i was unbothered.
We were two friendless teenage girls who nobody wanted anything to do with. And then we found each other and became nearly partners in crime. There had been a few times when Billie would text me during class for us to skip school for the rest of the day. At first i was hesitant, y'know me and rules, but i loosened up and just went for it. We'd go egging peoples cars, we'd sneak out to go graffiti some buildings, and she even broke into her dads liquor cabinet a few times and stole some for us to drink.
Spending all this time with Billie has really open my eyes to just being a normal teenager. Having fun, breaking rules, adrenaline rushes. I never experienced this as a teenager and now that im doing it, i can see why people always thought i was uptight and such a stickler. Billie taught me fun and honestly without her, i dont think i would've ever found it.
Currently me and Billie are sitting at our lunch table laughing about a story she was telling.
"Oh my gosh. There is no way that happened to you." I said between laughs
"Dude i swear on Bob that shit happened to me."
"Who the hell is Bob?" I said laughing even harder.
"I dont even know. But wherever theres a Bob, i just swore on their life. Sorry Bob!" She shouted the last sentence in the air to an invisible Bob.
"So." Billie said finishing up her chewing and wiping her mouth with her sleeve.
"Me and a few of my friends are going to this little Christmas Party down at our hot spot."
"Hot spot?"
"Its where we hang out. Anyway its this upcoming weekend before Christmas break and i wanted to ask you if you were down to go."
"Where's it at? Like whats the name of your hot spot? Is it like a coffee shop or something?"
"Nah, not even close. Its this old abandoned train station about 20 minutes from here. Its secluded so nobody like cops or anything really go up there. Most of the kids like me hang out there."
"Kids like you?"
"Y'know, underground kids."
"Oh."
"But yeah. Its this up coming weekend and i'd like it if you came along with me."
"Why me? Of all people."
"Well for one, because i know you have no plans, and two, because your my only friend and it'd be nice not to go alone."
"But you wont be alone, youll have your other friends like you said."
"Yeah but none of them will make me look good when i go."
