Sorrysorrysorrysorrysorry. I know, I haven't updated in a while, but I've been super stressed and wasn't able to update. I love writing for you guys, but I had to focus on some other things that were more of a priority. Also, this chapter contains a small mention of people sleeping together, so skip past that if you don't like that. Enjoy this chapter!

Annabeth

We danced, laughed, and sung until 3 in the morning, by which time everyone had left and it was just us and the mess in the house.

"Cleanup tomorrow?" Groaned Hazel.

"Cheers to that." Piper said weakly, holding up a glass of punch.

We tripped up the stairs, sleep-deprived and sore. I leaned on Percy for support. Right now, the quest was the farthest thing from our minds.

Opening the door to my room, I flopped onto my bed, still in my party clothes. I hoped I would have a peaceful sleep, but no such luck.

I dreamed of a room that was made of silver, gold, iron and bronze. The room glittered so bright that it nearly blinded me. I touched the wall and immediately snatched my hand away. I looked at the small but angry, red burn on my fingers. Must be Stygian iron, Celestial bronze, Artemisian silver, and Imperial gold.

The room was fairly big, which seemed odd because it was too hard to get metals as rare as these, and so much too. But what did I know, it was just a dream. I stepped forward, walking towards an ornate box in the middle of the room.

My fingers stretched out to touch the box, almost of their own accord. Before I could touch it, it disappeared. A voice hissed, "Beware, child of wisdom." The walls closed in on me, the exit gone. The last thing I saw was Asher, standing behind me. Then everything went black.

Asher

I stretched, sunlight pouring in through my window. My phone dinged with a text. Rolling over to reach it, I yawned. Scanning the message, a smile spread across my face. Perfect. My fingers typed a reply back, improving my mood.

Deciding to get ready, I picked out a green hoodie and some jeans. I took a shower, changing into my clothes and brushing my teeth and hair. Dashing down the stairs, I opened my mouth for a quick good morning to my parents.

"Morning Mom, morning Dad."

"Morning kiddo. You're up early." My dad commented.

"Yeah, wasn't really tired."

"Sit down, have some eggs." My mom said, sliding a couple eggs onto my plate.

"Thanks Mom." I said, shoveling eggs into my mouth. She nodded, putting the eggs away.

"Hey, Jordan asked if we could go to the mall today, and maybe have lunch there too?"

"You're behind on some work Asher, so unless you get that done, you can't go." My mom replied. I groaned inwardly. It wasn't due for a few weeks at least, but my parents wouldn't accept that excuse.

"Oh, we were actually going to study at one of the cafes too," I said, lying through my teeth. "Like we'd just go to the mall for a bit and leave our books in the car so we can study later at like Jordan's house or something."

My mom nodded in approval. "Who's going?"

"Uh, me, Jordan, Kayla, and Annabeth." I replied.

"Girls? You're too young for a girlfriend! Is this why you've been behind on all your work?" My dad asked, his voice raising slightly. I winced.
