I'm baaaaaack! I didn't post for a while, but I was having a little writer's block as well as SO many tests. On an unrelated note, IT'S SNOWING! We got like 8 inches so far, I think. Anyways, on to the story!

Hazel

I tapped my foot anxiously, not used to them blowing up. Frank squeezed my hand, while Nico gave me a reassuring nod. I cleared my throat. When that didn't work, Frank transformed into a lion and roared loudly, effectively silencing the demigods complaints. He transformed back. Piper let out a giggle. Leo coughed.

"Now that you all are quiet, we have to debrief you on the quest." I said irritatedly. Leo snorted. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Who uses the word debrief ?" He asked.

"Valdez?"

"Yeah?"

"Shut up." I said, glaring.

"Yes Ma'am." He saluted.

I rolled my eyes and continued.

"As I hope you know, the powers of Apollo have stopped." I said.

"Stopped? I thought it was just prophecy?" Percy asked.

"No, children of Apollo can no longer shoot arrows, make music, and most importantly, heal. Mr. D has some, but Apollo has been missing and we can't find anyone to heal the way Apollo and his children can."

"So what do we do now? Can't we just put them in the Golden Fleece?" asked Piper.

"No, after what happened with Thalia, we can't, and it takes too long. Hecate told me that it uses too much magic." I responded

'"Can't Lady Hecate or her children use some magicky stuff on them?" Leo asked.

"Her children don't do much healing magic, and with the Mist thinning, all of her power has been going to keep it going. We've been using them as healers, but we can't do much."

"What about you Hazel? Can't you do magic?" Percy asked.

"I deal with the Mist, not actual magic like Lou Ellen's pig balls."

"And the gods?" Asked Jason.

"Dad has been doing everything he can for fatal injuries, since he's the god of the dead, he can bring back people who are on the verge of death, but with Persephone up here, he has to run the Underworld on his own. Hopefully since it's October, he'll be able to do more soon when Persephone comes back." I said, using the Greek terms.

"And the rest..." Frank dropped off.

"The rest are either incapacitated, unable to help because of war rebuilding, or they don't have those type of powers" I said, picking up for Frank.

"What about Lady Artemis?" asked Leo.

"I haven't heard from her." Thalia said, fidgeting with her circlet.

"She's been able to bring back the arrow shooting thing, but it's still weak because of her time on Delos." Frank answered.

"And Hermes?" Calypso spoke up.

"He's been running back and forth, trying to deliver items for the war rebuilding. He drops off healing supplies sometimes, but we don't get them often, and whatever we do get isn't enough."

"So what's the point of the quest?" Annabeth asked. I sighed.

"We have to find a source that can replace his powers. Apparently, it's an Ancient Greek opal. I don't know what it's called, but it's somewhere in this city." Frank answered, playing with my fingers.
