"Good morning, how can I help a fine young lady like yourself?"

An elderly woman asked behind the table filled with various fruits and vegetables. The young woman grazed her eyes over the table onto some fresh grapes. The market was always a place that was bustling with energy and laughter of the little children who played around while those who were watching them shopped around. The young woman pointed at a bunch of ripe looking purple grapes that begged her to be taken off the table and asked how much they were to which the elderly lady said a dollar. The young woman gave the elderly lady a dollar and an extra for a tip before carefully placing the grapes in a brown bag and walking off hoping to get out of the market before someone notices her.

"Terra!!"

A loud and cheerful voice called out to her which caused her to halt in place while the voice came closer......Too late.

"Oh it's you, what do you want now Daphney?"

The young woman said with an empty look as the cheerful woman placed herself in front of Terra. She wanted to shove her aside and walk out of the market but her manners got the better of her so she stayed in place.

"Can't I say hello to my friend?"

Daphney questioned with a smile on her face which made Terra rub her temples in annoyance before pushing her out of the way, continuing her pursuit to leave the market but not before turning around with her arms crossed over her chest.

"We are not friends and even if we were the answer is no, you cannot, now leave me alone, I have better things to do than talk to you."

Terra said, turning on her heel and making her way to the exit once more as Daphney skipped around her, completely disregarding what Terra just told her. Daphney was an optimistic woman, too optimistic but nevertheless she didn't care one bit. The young woman acted like a child most times with her charcoal hair bouncing around in a high ponytail with a red ribbon attached to the hair tie. Her rounded pink cheeks also bouncing as she skipped while her light blue dress flowed in an odd way as did the black tie that hugged the collar of the dress.

"Come on now! How was your day?"

Daphney asked after pouting at Terra's rude display. Terra huffed and ran her long slender fingers through her charcoal black hair that trailed down to her tailbone, bringing out her wonderfully tanned skin and her dim, lifeless purple eyes. People who were born in the country of Endoria usually have black hair and bright purple eyes along with a cheerful attitude to match which Terra grew very annoyed of.

"Are you ever going to cut your hair shorter? I mean I know you like it that way but come on! Isn't it time for a change Terra? You will never marry if you don't change your looks to be absolutely perfect thats what mama says so come on already! I don't want you to be a Bachelorette for the rest of your life!"

Terra groaned in annoyance while rolling her eyes before she looked down to Daphney. She was rather short compared to Terra as she was 5'7 and Daphney was about 5'3. Terra placed her hand on the tiny woman and moved her aside before walking away and out of the market leaving Daphney fuming until a young man around her age walked passed her on his phone which caught her attention. Daphney now enthralled by the man who walked passed her gave Terra a good advantage to get away without Daphney following her. Terra didn't like daphney all that much even if she was a cheerful woman. Terra appreciated her cheerfulness but detested the lack of mind she had, such a shame that she would end up married to a rich man and not have to think for herself if she continued down this path that she would most definitely take in the long run. With that final thought in mind, Terra began her commute to her sanctuary that was her home.
