"Olympia?" A voice called from the other side of the door. Olympia was currently putting Adara's hair up into a bun, getting her ready for school.
"Enter" she said, her monotone voice making the air fill in a tense aura.
Ann, May, Ross, Terrence and Aunt Rose walked through the door with sad expressions on their faces.
"Stay. I'll be right back. Come Adara." Olympia instructed, holding her hand out for her daughter to take before walking out of the room.
When she came back she gently closed the door behind her and crossed her arms over her chest, an eyebrow raised and a small scowl on her face.
"What is it?" She spat, making the room fall deathly silent.
"What's wrong dear?" Aunt Rose spoke up, rising from her seat and walking over to Olympia. The Pillar shrugged her aunt off, turning around to leave the room. She didn't want to deal with her problems today, she just wanted to be left alone. It was better that way anyways, less people to get in her way.
Terrence shot up and ran over to the door, slamming it shut. Olympia's eyes widened slightly in shock before returning to that icy glare she always wore.
"Move" Olympia demanded. He shook his head.
Ann got up this time and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Please tell us what's wrong, you've been so cold lately!" She stated, a pleading look in her eyes.
The Pillar sighed and turned around.
"You guys want to know what's wrong? Fine." She growled, grabbing Terrence's wrist.
He wailed in pain, clutching his wrist after Olympia let go.
"That's what's wrong" she simply said, earning confused gaze from those in front of her.
She groaned. "It's me. It's my powers. That's what's wrong. What you just saw and what you just experienced, Terrence was my powers." She informed.
"What?" Ross gasped, seeing Terrence still grasping onto his wrist.
"I let him have a small taste of my curse. If I were to put it into a percentage I'd say that was at least 5%. If I were to even give him 45% he would die and unless I revive him, he will stay dead. No human can survive the full extent of my powers and if they do it would only be for approximately a day."
"How-" Ross started before being cut off by Olympia raising her hand.
"Do you guys know which Pillar I originally was before all this bullshit happened?"
The five of them nodded, looking down to the floor in sudden realization that they were in the presence of what some people would consider a Goddess in both power and beauty.
"I was formerly known as the Pillar of Death, currently known as the Pentagon. Daughter of two humans who defied The Orders wishes which resulted in their demise and in turn became who I am today. I was reborn time and time again in order to save this world. My world, my countries and my people are all my top priority and that includes all of you who live with me whether we have a bond or not. My sole purpose is to save these countries all while guiding the souls of people I come across to the afterlife when their time is up."
Terrence looked up from staring at the floor to see Olympia staring directly at him.
"That power you felt would have killed you in an instant if I wanted to give you some more. I could kill all of you if I wanted to and not bat an eye. That is my curse. My power, from being the Pillar of death and from gaining the power of all those who I once trusted allows me to kill without remorse. The only thing keeping me from doing so is Terra, my former human self."
