"Oh, come on!" Snotlout exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

"Sorry, it's the game," Astrid gloated smugly.

Snotlout groaned, and as Hiccup and Astrid began setting the board again for a next round, a thump was heard outside the clubhouse.

"What was that?" Astrid asked as everyone looked.

Hiccup looked to see a young dragon rider covered with a hood mount off of a Monstrous Nightmare. They pushed the hood back, revealing themselves to be a girl, with beautiful brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Oh yeah, remember last week when I said that I got a Terror Mail from Dagur on Berserker Island saying there was someone he wanted us to train? well, this is her," Hiccup explained, digging up the terror mail from his satchel.

The unknown girl walked up and looked around, but when she noticed the peg leg, she looked up at Hiccup. "You Hiccup Haddock?"

"Yes, you must be Ingrid, right?"

"That I am. I came because the chief wants to make an A-team, kind of like what you guys on Berk did-so he sent me out here to see what you guys can do for my training."

"Great, let's start by going down to the dome," Hiccup suggested as they were about to walk out, but Snotlout butted in and pushed Hiccup aside.

"Allow me to take you," he gestured with his forearm out.

Ingrid groaned and Hiccup rolled his eyes.

"Don't mind him," Astrid said, as they walked outside. "He's a flirt."

Soon enough, over the course of the day, everyone was to begin training the young girl basic combat and flying skills. Hiccup was the first to teach her, which was basic flying maneuvers and sword-fighting.

While they were in the dome, Astrid, at her hut with Stormfly, took a spyglass and spied on what they were doing. It looked like Ingrid had attempted to do a trick, but ended up on the ground and now Hiccup was checking if she was all right.

"Why don't you just kiss while you're at it?" she scoffed.

Stormfly gave her a very concerning squawk looking at her rider.

Astrid sighed. Ever since she saw her show up on the island, seeing her, seeing her beauty, Astrid couldn't help but feel an anchor fall to her stomach, making her feel uneasy the whole day. At first, she didn't know what the feeling was, but now she figured it out-but that doesn't mean she won't deny it over stubbornness.

"I'm not jealous, if that's what you're thinking, Stormfly," she scoffed as she pulled the spyglass up again.

Now it showed Ingrid on her dragon, with Hiccup beside her, patting the dragon, talking. Astrid pulled away from it and closed her eyes. "He's just teaching her what to do, he's just teaching her what to do, he's just teaching her what to do, he's just..."

Before she knew it, her hands were clenched so hard, that the spyglass broke and it gave a "POP!" sound.

Astrid immediately stood up from the broken glass and wood. She looked down at her hand to see a little blood.

"I gotta stop this, this isn't me,' Astrid said aloud to herself. Stormfly looked at her hand concerned.

"I'm fine, girl." She rushed inside her hut, and when she came out, she had applied a white rag to her bleeding hand. "Let's go out for a spin, I need to clear my mind."
